Intro

            IMPORTANT INFO

     Only the original animation creator is able to perform part 1!              If the creator has performed part 1 correctly, skip to part 2.


      Make sure you have agreed to the Workshop Legal Agreements,
      otherwise you will not be able to upload animated workshops:

      This guide is an update to a previous guide about uploading long workshop images:

  This improved method allows you to upload long workshop images without faking the heights!       
    This method works with all supported file types independently of size and frame count!

       You are expected to apply HEX editing for all workshop images seperately.

Part I - Modify images

            CREATOR ONLY

                Visit this site: https://hexed.it





            Click "Open File" and load your desired image:

               Scroll to the very bottom of the page:

               Replace the last byte of your file to 21:

               Click "Export" and save your modified image:

              Repeat this step for remaining four images.

Part II - Upload to Steam

    Now it is time to upload your prepared Long Workshop/Guide Images!   

               Open this link with a web browser:
           https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/edititem/767/3/





  If you want to upload a long workshop, paste the provided code into the browser console:

       However, if you want to upload a long guide, paste this code instead:

Do you got one for how to crop an artwork for a fully upgraded artwork showcase?

I made a workshop showcase maker for animated steam showcases. speeds things up a lot compared to doing everything yourself, and the downloaded files are already ready to upload since all the gifs are cut up and hex-edited.

note: to unlock [my workshop showcase] u need to be at least level 10 on steam or buying the showcase using steam points.
