Higher Morale

Beskrivelse
This mod aims to make battles longer by increasing morale overall and reducing hitchance in melee.
(Applies to both player and AI armies.)

Most importantly:
  • Increases base morale of all units by 15.
  • Increases morale of siege defenders from 8 to 50 (from 0 to 10 if breached).
  • Decreases base hitchance of all units from 40% to 30%.

Other tweaks:
  • Gives 5-10 morale if commanding general is alive.
  • Increases general's aura effect from 3-3 to 5-10.
  • Gives up to 10 morale if reinforcements are expected.
  • Decreases morale penalty if army is near destruction from -120 to 0.
  • Increases morale bonus for winning slightly (from 3 to 10), winning (from 6 to 15), winning decisively (from 8 to 20).
  • Gives a -10 morale penalty if unit is under friendly fire.
  • Gives no morale penalty to player in Very Hard/Legendary difficulty.
  • Increases tickets in siege defense from 200 to 500.
  • Reduces minimum hitchance from 10% to 0%.
  • Units can only rally after a rout once (down from twice).

All of the above should work in custom battles as well as in campaign.

This mod is highly compatible since it only touches 2 files.
it is basically compatible with all mods if you load it first in my experience.

If you update this mod, you won't have to update again. With Warhammer 3 around the corner, mods aren't going to need to be updated anymore since CA won't be adding more to WH2.

Field battles are great. Sieges can be a slog though. The morale buff means that alot of units I fight will fight until it is completly wiped out which can really drag sieges on.
