Fire Emblem - Nabata

Description
Adds the Nabata Desert civilizations, led by Sophia and Igrene.

Screenshots are in Korean but the mod fully supports English.

Sophia's Nabata Desert is a late-blooming civilization with some of the slowest starts, but potentially some of the strongest late game of all the Fire Emblem civilizations. However, Sophia requires a lot of set-up to get to the state where Sophia can be dominating, and her lack of military bonus of any form will make Sophia fragile.

On the other hand, Igrene's Nabata Desert has early game bonuses but fades out in the late game, and is much more defensive in nature, having a devastating ranged unit that fights very well when holding a spot, and a powerful melee unit that heals in the desert, both units not keeping their unique bonuses when upgraded.

Sophia's Trait: Arcadian Harmony
Spending non-Prophet Great People yield a sum of faith that scales with Era. Purchasing Great People with Faith refunds 40% of the cost back. Settling a city reveals nearby ruins and cities, although it does not establish diplomatic connection.

Sophia's Unique Building: Desert Oracle
Replaces the Temple. Yields 3 Faith instead of 2, and permanently increases the city's Food by 1 for every 30*(1+Food bonus) faith that the city has generated. The bonus cannot exceed 2 times the number of citizens in the city.

Sophia's Unique Improvement: Dragonstone Monument
Unlocked at Philosophy. +1 Food, Science and Faith, the bonuses doubled at Education. Can be used to develop any land resources, but can only be built on desert if the tile is resourceless and cannot be built adjacent to each other. When developing a land resource, the Monument receives any additional yield bonus from improving the tile (e.g. +1 Production from developing Cattle, +1 Food from developing Salt), but not the default yield of a base improvement.

Igrene's Unique Ability: Paradise in the Desert
+2 Food to Oasis tiles, and +1 Food to unimproved Flood Plains. All land units fight 20% better in Desert tiles.

Igrene's Unique Unit 1: Desert Guardian
Replaces the Swordsman. Stronger, doesn't require Iron, and heals 20 HP when starting a turn in a Desert Tile.

Igrene's Unique Unit 2: Desert Sniper
Replaces the Crossbowman. Starts with Vision 1, and if the unit hasn't taken any action and hasn't entered combat until next turn, the unit gains 2 range and 33% Attack strength until the unit moves.

AI
Sophia is a docile leader who is pacifist and not bold. Sophia will try to stay out of fights, and will be more interested in friendship than war. With Community Patch, Sophia is easy to intimidate as well. Sophia also will be much less interested in building a large army than she is interested in building large cities brimming with production and building a strong religion. Sophia will also aim to generate many Great People, and will prefer Science and Diplomatic victory the most.

Igrene on the other hand is much less pacifist: Igrene will fight if pushed hard enough, although Igrene is only average in boldness and won't be too keen on starting unprovoked wars. Whereas Sophia is only interested in having enough of a defensive army and more keen on building big cities, Igrene is much more militaristic, wanting to have a bigger defensive army (still not too keen on an offensive army), and will focus primarily on ranged units. While Igrene isn't the biggest expansionist, Igrene will also prove to be much more expansionist than Sophia, and will also focus more on tile improvements, although Igrene is just as interested in making tall cities as Sophia is.

Then convert the civ5mod file into a zip file (just do it, no software needed) and use 7zip to unzip

We Have discussed this before, I have downloaded the mod as you said I should.
However the mod is not playable in game because it does not show up in the mods list.
It doesnt matter if I leave it unextracted, if I extract it and leave it in the folder it creates or if I take the Civ5mod file out, the mod still does not show up in the modlist, I am only getting a civ5mod file in it.
I have noticed some mods have files besides the civ5mod file while others do not, so I was wondering if that is the issue I am having.
Also, There is a note at the bottom of the steampage that seems to be cut off

I am under the assumption that this is meant to be a way to help solve this issue but its cut off

I had no problems playing with this mod, however after getting on a new PC, I am no longer able to get the mod working no matter what I try and because there is no direct download on the steam page, I cant get it working whatsoever, how would I go around to get it working?

Hi, where is the direct download link?
The Dark Crab Dec 30, 2017 @ 4:14pm
I think I know why now. I don't have the expansions and that has caused issues with other mods I have so that's probably the case here. Thanks for replying!

You tried direct download and it doesn't work? That's very strange, try clearing the cache perhaps?

So I tried to install this mod and for some reason it doesn't appear on the mod single player set up screen. The mods folder shows it's there and I tried direct download as well but it still doesn't work. Do you have any advice?

Actually yes, a bit
I'm thinking of something with happynes, because of her adorableness you could make a building that improves happyness, and her civ bonus could improve gold, production and food the higher the happiness, idk if thats passible but its an idea
