Description
ArmA2 Sounds For ArmA3 (A2SFA3) - modification for A3, that changes the most part of sounds in ArmA3 to old good sounds from ArmA2 (Like footsteps, gear sounds, etc)

Features:
  • Footstep sounds from A2.
  • Environment sounds from A2.
  • Gear sounds from A2 .
  • Breathing sounds from A2.
USE:
  1. Subscribe to this mod and download it.
  2. Start the game with this mod.
  3. Play mission/campaign/editor.
  4. Enjoy the old good sounds.
If you want to disable footsteps/env/gear sounds read next:
  1. Go to "?\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop\".
  2. Find and open folder with name: "@ArmA2 Sounds For ArmA3".
  3. Inside this folder find and open folder: "Addons".
  4. All .pbo(s) with name like this: "?_c.pbo" can be deleted to disable some sound packs.
CURRENT VERSION: 2.1.1
LAST PATCH CHANGELOG: #version=2.1.1 [FIX] Fixed pbos. #version=2.1 [FIX] Fixed critical error, that this mod caused on Arma startup. #version=2.0 [NEW] Added asphalt sounds. [NEW] APEX expansion map (Tanoa) sounds was changed -- still wip. [REMOVED] m_a2s_ui.pbo was removed due to its uselessness. [EDIT] File structure updated. [FIX] Missing sounds was fixed.
CURRENTLY KNOWN ISSUES:
  • On APEX expansion map (Tanoa) some sounds are not changed.
all .pbo(s) signed & .bikey included

Carefull, we had to remove this mod because of issues with suppressor with CUP and change of some sound it simply make no sound, removing it make it now working.

you guy's all play back ground music. turned me off. when your trying to hear the sounds.and the music playing in the back ground well just don't do it for me. no offence to you sir. just my opinion. other then that:steamthumbsup:
