Not working by now?

Indeed. One problem with the mod I'm using to keep it the middle ages is that trebuchets are bad news for attacking cities. Longbows are better, due to the range thing. That shouldn't be.

When you make one that realistically gives them range 3 (at least treb and can) then I'll check it out, a cover promotion is just a bad bandaid.

It should work with the hwacha and the ballistae; I'll test it out and get back to you I might have uploaded the wrong version.

Does this work with unique units like the hwacha and ballistae? I'm using this mod with my current game as the Romans and I haven't noticed any change

The cover promo can be envisaged as a range advantage over bows. I like this mod idea as catapults are not very good at attacking cities in the vanilla game and it's annoying how a city always gets to fire on them first

Yeah, I was mostly responding to the guy below you; I don't think this mod makes realistic sense either =P

I'm not complaining you did it, understand it full well. How the game handles battles vs cities is just silly and historical incorrect, it would take a couple of more pretty deep changes to fix it. I just saw a picture in my head of them rolling the catapults around to avoid arrows and it just cracked me up XD

People asked for it so I did it, up to you if you want to use it or not. I agree with them though, I honestly have found it easier to take cities with Composite Bows than Catapults, which makes less sense to me.
