Disco Elysium, The Final Cut, is a good game. It combines elements of Dungeons and Dragons with its game mechanics leading to some funny shenganhiangs like all D&D campaigns. Honestly the controls for the game are very simple. The graphics are okay, they look like they were all painted. It's the gameplay with its sometimes comedic dialogue that makes me want to play this game for hours. Now let's talk about the plot. (spoiler warning through the rest of the review I will be talking about this game's plot. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
The start of the game has us listening to a reptilian brain and our limbic system sometimes a skill may butt in to say stuff. Then we wake up, collect our items and wipe the mirror. After going out of our hotel room we talk to a lady and find out we are a cop. We head down stairs to meet our partner and are told what is going with this place. The manager tells us that we were sent here to solve a case of hanging. So we go do that (alternatively we could just ignore it) after geting the body down we discover that the it was not a lynching ora suicide but a murder coverup. Now the next day we question the union worker before getting the key to the back rooms of the hotel and question the woman who we met before. That woman tells us to find the 8th person of that group who she suspects is the one who killed the mercenary leader. From here we have to wait till day 3 to continue on with this story, so we can explore more around Revachol. Anyways after waiting for 1 days doing a lot of side objectives, we finally get access to the other side of the map. There we are able to find the 8th hardie member and she tells us that she doesn't know where the shot came from. Afterwards we head back to the hotel to find a stand off between the other mercenary members and the hardie boys. In the end we can't peacefully stop the escalation of the stand off so we are the first to attack. However we get shot and that's when the hardie boys and our partner try to cover us. In the end after recovering we learn that some members of the hardie boys died and all the mercenaries were killed. Afterwards we then go back to the women who talked to us on the first day and find out the shot that killed the mercenary leader came from a far away island. We get to the island, arrest the man and the case is solved. So that's the plot of course it's only the storyline but there are sidequests and skill checks that I haven't mentioned that made the story interesting. All in all this is the first time I have played a game that uses dungeon and dragons mechanics and I really like it. With that aside don't let the price of the game discourage you, it was definitely worth the money. 9/10 is what I would give it.

Bioshock Infinite, although said to be amongst fans of the bioshock series as not the greatest, is still a good game overall. I mean sure it's a huge departure from the splicer infested underwater city of Rapture (Literally as ascend to the clouds), it was probably for the best as most of the stories in Rapture have been told. Now where do I begin… ah yes the plot. (spoiler alert for the rest of the review: for those who have not played the game yet I advise that you either play the game, watch someone else play it, or stop reading {unless you don't care for spoilers} YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
We play as Booker Dewitt, an alcoholic in debt, tasked on a mission to steal a girl in a tower from the city of Columbia. This sounds like an easy mission right? Steal the girl to wipe away the debt, but it's not going to be that easy. For you see standing in between you is One (read as many) person, Zachary Comstock. Who we dont get to actually fight until we: Solve a bell puzzle, almost drown by baptism, receive a letter to not go to the raffle, game some minigames, take some plasmids Vigors, flip heads on coin, attend a raffle, kills eight alot of officers, obtain the power of fire, drink potions, kill some raven cultists, learn obtain man eating birds, pass over a wrench, meet the prophet, obtain a ship, lose a ship, find the girl, almost die to drowning, attempt to act like a normal person, rolling a Natural 1 on charisma when attempting to get train tickets, more murder, visit a propagnda building, obtain UNLIMITED POWER, board a bigger ship, get knocked unconscious, meet the totally not radical rebellion group, lose the girl, find the girl, find a blacksmith oh wait hes dead, insert timeline.exe, find out you became a martyr, get betrayed, fight a ghost, someone finds out there adopted, lose the girl, sleep for long time, obtain a bird friend, lose a bird friend, wait was that rapture?!?!, head into multiple timelines, and die by drowning from tear users. Did I lose anyone there with that summary?? No? Well I lost myself, no seriously what is that ending. This plot is convoluted with all the timelines like it's hard for anyone to follow it at times. Anyways enough about the plot, now for gameplay. Oh boy where do I begin. Well the controls are smooth at least, however just what in the world is going on with the graphics. Like at times you see pieces of geometry sticking out of the floor, sometimes things aren't even texture so you can see the blue sky under the map. Heck why are the rose bushes low poly PNGs, yet when you look at the small white flowers on the ground they are modeled instead. Now I do like the gun models but what I don't like is how in this game when upgrading your weapons you don't get to see any changes in their design. This is a real bumper as I always liked it when in the Bioshock one and two where upgrading weapons came with changes to the design. At Least this game has rag dolls so if you ever want a laugh just use bucking bronco on random NPCs most of the time they are not enemies and will rag doll in the air. This leads to hilarious ragdolls and will surely make you laugh. At the end of the day however This game was still fun to play but as a person who has played the other bioshock games I can only give it a 6/10.

Gone home is a great walking simulator. At first I was expecting this game to be a horror game, but what I got instead was a tragic love story. Which I will say was welcoming as I do not take horror that well. This is the first kind of game I have played that deals with a love story mystery so I do not have any other games that fit in the same genre to compare it to.. I do like how the game makes nods to this “scary horror” aspect by giving us a: fake jumpscare, satanic ritual, ouija board, ghost note book, and red dye as blood in the bathroom. All in all I like this game, it’s mechanics are funny, as you can pick up and carry everything. You can even throw it and everything bounces, even the glass (which by the way should break, but at least you can play glass basketball). I also Like how meta this game can be at times like when the fake jump scare happens. There's a wooden cross near you so you can “turn” the ghost away. There's a note on a corkboard from Sam that says the parents need to stop leaving the lights on in the house like how Katie does. The game is very easy to play and the graphics have a sort of semi realistic feel to it. However the one thing I wish this game did have was a run button as having to backtrack only by walking is a bit slow.
