The events at the abbey led, Ed and Lorraine Warren to travel to England and help the Hodgson family deal with a haunting in their home. The Warrens investigated and initially found nothing, until Lorraine realizes the demon VALAK is behind the hauntings.

After being sent back to the the depths below the surface by Lorraine, VALAK was nothing but a myth, an old legend.. that is until one of the survivors saw a shape form in the fog unlike anything they had ever seen before..
