This game is cracked like fortnite.

One of the better free games on steam in my opinion. Could be a little tedious at times, but it was very rewarding with an earrape of a final cutscene. Felt like i was playing an old xbox game and playing ARK Survival Evolved: Scorched Earth in all the best ways. It told you what you needed to do, but let you figure it out. It lets you know where your goal is, but not how to get there. I played through on the recommended difficulty and never felt like I was in danger after the first encounter. I do have to say the first encounter was probably the best part of the game. One critique would be the lack of ways to retain sanity/sleep meter. Beer was to scarce to be of any use plus its minimal effect. Was a little frustrating but i see the point. I do have to say I appreciated the inclusion of the notes that told multiple character arcs. I would say as well that finding the gay lovers was one of my favorite moments. I remember I said out loud, "thats so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool lolololololol." After completion what stuck with me where the few Easter eggs I found, and I thank whoever developed this for that. I'm sure I missed a lot but what I found was:
- The giant statue behind the first outpost.
- The silhouettes of the people on the cliff in the first area. (Lion King Reference?)
- The multiple pictures of Viscachas that were suspicously similar to big chungus. (So sad)
- Dead baby?? Idk if thats an easter egg.
- Mass grave?? Also maybe not an easter egg.

P.S. I saw multiple people saying that the game was ruined by "liberal agenda women voice actor". First of all, lmao. And second even though I don't think her voice was supposed to be funny, every time i heard her say something snarky I found it comedic. "Look! More sand!" She did a good job regardless.

tl;dr: Good game with devs that like their craft. With more budget they could make a really good game for sure.

Mother of god this game is just so good. Theyre a lot of changes that id love to see but this games just fun. gun play just is smooth as ♥♥♥♥, dying doesnt feel like you just suck, and the guns all feel good. great game.
