Took me 5 hours to learn how to aim down sights, and got curbstomped on Malevelon Creek. Good game.

When the game actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works, it's kinda fun, yeah. Though, whenever the servers go down for ANY REASON, you've essentially paid for a $50 to $90 digital paperweight. Always online games suck ass, and while peer to peer connection had its issues, it was better than whatever the ♥♥♥♥ this is.

Also, infamy progression is tied to challenges, and ONLY those challenges. Most of them aren't too bad, just your usual kill x number of enemies with y weapon, and so on. However, beating a heist at least 60 times to get some of these is abysmal. It just feels like halo infinite multiplayer all over again, but instead of the challenges progressing a battle pass, they instead are the ONLY way to level up and gain access to new ♥♥♥♥ to buy. Take a page out of DRG's book, for the love of god. Just apply their design for the season pass progression and apply it to this game's infamy progression. Have heists give xp towards your infamy, and have challenges there to give you a BOOST, not be the ONLY way to progress.

TL;DR: Game good when it works, but has major flaws and has been down for the past few days since launch. Add an offline mode and improve how progression works.

It's no budokai 3, but it's alright

I'm gonna be honest, I played for 350 hours on Xbox like 2 years ago and made the jump to Steam cause it was on sale.

The good:
*Combat system is fun.
*PvE arcade mode is fun.
*Story mode, despite not being updated ONCE since the game's release, is really fun on realistic. (Please bring back realistic modes in PvP I beg of you.)
*Lawbringer.

The bad:
*PvP is hit or miss. You either stomp someone who just installed the game or get stomped by someone who has learned the attack pattern of a shower, no in-between.
*Reflex guard is still a thing.
*No cross-progression between Xbox and Steam.

The game is good, but I like MHW better.
Though this game you get a dog, so it balances out.

HOWEVER, ♥♥♥♥ THE NEW DRM. You are actively hurting the people who pay for and play your games, Capcom. I know my voice is just one of many, but rollback those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ changes and remove that ♥♥♥♥. I don't use mods, nor do I have any desire to, and even I think this ♥♥♥♥ is ridiculous.

Ogryn gets to have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knuckleblaster from ULTRAKILL, making him the best character in the game by far. I will not elaborate further.
