An amazing game given to the wrong team. I've played 600 hours on PC on close to 1k on consoles and for the most part the game was amazing. Extremely casual with weapons and abilities that felt fun. Game was in a stagnant state for almost 2 years with 0 updates but the playerbase stayed with it because it was genuinely fun. Had roughly 10 people that I personally played with at least once a week. New team gets a hold of it start bringing updates and everyone is super excited. Update finally drops and within 2 weeks, every single person I regularly play the game has uninstalled. They made the most fun "feeling" weapons feel terrible, removed duos, added pointless dragons that fly around the map while the game remains unbalanced and broken. The only mode that's semi-playable if you're new is solos. If you don't have a full team of experienced players with mics, don't expect to have fun. The more competitive side is fun if you're into that but the causal side of the game has been killed. Game has currently had a 2 week long game-breaking bug that prevents proper looting due to a bug with chests and the devs stated it wont be fixed until the next major update. This game was my favorite casual game to just relax with friends and sometimes play in the comp scene, but its turned into a game that only the 1% "can" enjoy, with 0 room or tolerance for casual/new players. If you're looking for a fun game, look elsewhere; If you're looking for a slow-paced, un-fun game, with an un-welcoming community then try your luck here.
