Easily one of the most unique games in recent years. The core gameplay is a mix between a bullet hell and a turn based RPG, with each enemies having different attack patterns. But the creativity lies in HOW you take those enemies down given the options you have, the game can be finished without doing a single point of damage to a single enemy. The game rewards you for those choices you make by changing the story accordingly, and every ending is rewarding in its own way. The game is genuinely charming and funny, with a cast of characters that have instantly become iconic. Everyone should AT LEAST give it a try, quit hating for no reason.

Inside is a game that is all about show don't tell, and boy does it show. It is sombre in it's presentation and story. What is beautiful with this game is that it is completely open to interpretation, not a single word is uttered in this game, making the game all the more enjoyable. Although there are puzzles, this is not so much a game as an experience, but nonetheless one worth having.

The game can be extremely daunting and the community sometimes unforgiving, and the grind may not seem worth it. that being said, when the game was at it's best, its some of the most fun i've had in a videogame. However, his game is NOT worth full AAA price, it is dated and some of its features are... questionable (looking late game guns, who thought it was ok to have such powerful ♥♥♥♥ to bully newcomers). But there is no denying that the game is massive and offers hours upon hours of content. If you are willing to put the time in and get your ass handed to you a few times, its well worth the buy.

Most surprising gems of this generation. It's the metroidvania genre you know and love but with unique elements and flavour that give it it's own identity. Truly a masterpiece
