actually pretty fun

this was funny for like 2 seconds but minnie being able to just instakill you turns it into an incredibly frustrating and tedious experience

i got half of the achievments in this game from a pirated copy and im incredibly sad about that

I absolutely love this game.
It's pacing, comedic timing, and atmosphere are all superfluously done and excellent.
Multiplayer is some of the most fun I've ever had with a game, and I seriously recommend it.
However, single player is much of the opposite.
The entire fear factor is gone completely, as all thoughts about atmosphere and all that are replaced with frustration.
The game was meant to be played with other people, I understand that, but Zeekers clearly wants there to be a version of this game with single player in mind, and right now, it is not at that state.
Everything being so able to kill you is fine in multiplayer, because, since there's more people, you're more expendable. Conversely, the idea of "one wrong step" in a one person environment makes everything so much more punishing, which would be ok, if dying was fair.
The amount of bullsh*t deaths I have encountered through no fault of my own is astounding.
Ignored inputs, inconsistent enemy ai, and impossible-to-tell-because-of-shadows-quicksand to name a few.
I can not remember one time where I died alone and thought "I shouldn't have done that."
Bottom line, single player (at the time of this review) is just not fun. Don't do it.
Multiplayer is the intended, and most entertaining way to play the game, so do that.
