They are going the Bethesda route in where their game is miles better with mods. One playthrough will be about as much as you'll get from the game IF you can be bothered to as will be stated why next. Replayability is so terrible because of the insane grind after the first boss and how desolate it is considering how the biomes are just color changes with one new enemy, not a single bit of excitement comes from going to the next area, its just harder with the payoff of making you think you're doing more by making the grind turn to Runescape 1-99 mining grind, but Runescape makes it fun is the thing, this game does not because you can't just teleport anywhere with the ore, no no. That would be too nice, too good. You have to haul that allllll the way back to your base (Thankfully there is a mod that removes that, and theres a prime example of the Bethesda route). Not a single big update as planned from the roadmap either apart from this small heart and home whatever update. It's been 10 months, and we got a crappy build thing that could've taken modders, I dunno. A week. The revamped food stuff could've been fixed by modders (and has been, another example of bethesda route) in the span of a week too. There really is no excuse for the lack of consistency to this extreme. I'd have expected better from Coffee Stain Publishing as the publishers. They usually work with some good teams like Deep Rock Galactic and Satisfactory, but I suppose there is always a odd one out of the group. Also that post about voting for your game for the steam awards was absolutely embarrassing. Release some more updates, get out of Early Access and do something with your game. Nobody cares about a pony or whatever that you bought, just update the game. The modding community would absolutely love to work with you and make this game better.

This isn't a Numbers Go Up game. This is a aneurysm giver.

The most unique and well balanced content filled survival, boss killing, mobbing, hack and slash, loot getting, crafting, co-op, world building game I will ever play. With mods it goes from amazing, to somehow even more amazing. Worth the 10 dollars, but any deals is just a steal for the quality provided.

If you want a short injection of happiness, go to sandbox, place a druid and upgrade it to 0-4-0. Relish in the happy monkey icon and realize we are blessed with the cute Druid ;w; Good game btw, straight upgrade from 5 and introduces the druid monkey which is easily A tier if you know how to use them :O

Don't buy this game, it may look somewhat cool but it really isn't. It was way too focused on community helping community but the games dead as ♥♥♥♥. So if you wanna do jack squat, it is gonna be all by yourself, and that is very.. very.. grindy. They also introduced microtransactions and that was probably the last thing I remember update wise, so proceed with caution and save your money. Perhaps buy a burger or something
