This game will lure you in with it's pixelated art style, the old retro feeling and a nice soundtrack. THEN BACKSHOT YOU SO HARD YOU JUST CAN'T STOP. It's challenging alright. The problem I have it that the spawn rate is just bs. You can kill a monster then either it will respawn in a few seconds or immediately. It's too random for my liking. Bosses are either too ez or too hard. Some of them are predictable and some of them are just so random with their attacks. First two levels are ez, but the 3rd is a huge spike in the difficulty. This game almost let me break my controller. Playing with friends is the best way to play. If you play Solo you better prepare yourself for ass beating.

I hate this game fr. 8/10 would play again.

It has Arahabaki in it. I love Arahabaki. Truly the best statue of all time.

Deep lore: You play as a weeb who's obsessed with anime girls. You enter the gym, trying to get ripped. Sadly, some gymbros aren't happy with your obssesion, so they stole your anime pics and spread them in the gym (and backrooms). You have to get your anime pics before gymbros get to you.

Loved this game. Deep story game and I almost cried when the gymbro said: AAAAHHHH.

10/10

The budget went up :D From the 1st episode alone I can already say that the game is a huge improvement over the prequel. Art looks great. Can't wait for more episodes.

Aker Fern is weird, but in a good way. It offers a likeable cast of characters, which you can decide if you can spend time with them or not. The more you spend time with a said character, the more likely you'll get the ending of that character. The VN has an episodic structure, where something happens, and you can decide how you going to react to certain characters and with who will you spend time interacting.

Characters aren't that deep, but they're likeable and you can enjoy the interactions they have with each other. You can see that the game goes for that comedy/slice of life with some mix of supernatural. Weird mix up, but it kind of works. Even if some moments are random and are never brought up again.

The only thing that I had issue with was voice acting. It's fine in general. But I needed some time to get used to some voices. Especially Ajris's voice. She has a great fitting voice, but her mic just isn't good. Dan and Feliks grew on me, and I started to like their voices. Weronika's and Tattiana's voices were imo the best. Of course, other cast members did a good job as well. It's probably not for everyone, since it's not dubbed by fully professional VA's.

I won't call it a masterpiece, but I do think it does job as a VN. It would be neat it if it had some sound effects and some more art would be more appreciated. It was a nice time killer.

Fun game. Love the atmosphere, interesting gameplay and I really like the music when one of the monsters is chasing you (reminds me of the theme song from Halloween 1978). Monster designs are alright, hard to tell what they are though. The movement of the monsters is kind of stiff and sometimes they just moonwalk or just move without moving a pixel at all (and it's hilarious).

A good first game. Congrats fellas.

Machine for Pigs is awesome, but in a weird way. It doesn't scare you that much, the gameplay ain't that deep and it centrainly isn't as good as Dark Descent. The enemies ain't that scary and iconic as the grunts from Dark Descent, but they have their moments. The puzzles are simple, just one of them requires you to use your brain. In general this game is a downgrade compared to Dark Descent.

But there's that one thing makes it great. It's the story, the more you discover the more interesting it gets. Learning about Mandus, the machine and etc, is pretty nice. The game still has that atmopshere at times, especially in later levels, where I think it peaks at.

It doesn't live up to status of Dark Descent, but it does provide great story, decent atmopshere and nice setting for a game.

A really fun game. It took me years to finally get the courage to play it. No regrets. Scary as hell, even in later levels you can get spooked, even if you got used to the atmopshere and the sounds.

Story is also great. I didn't expect any of it and in the middle of the game it keeps you guessing. I wasn't a big fan of the fact you had to collect notes to know what exaclty happened, but I got used to it.

Gameplay is simple, but can give you anxiety of the oil alone, especially the first time when you over use your oil.

Great game would recommend to play it.

Easy to use software for beginners. Got what I expected and glad to use it. Feels pretty limited, but it was worth the 13 euro's.
