fun game but i wish there were less bots. If you want a proper challenge against good players you need to reach a higher class.

One of the best survival games out. Good balance of survival, building, combat, and has an interesting story. Multiplayer is probably one of the most enjoyable aspects but its still worth buying in 2022 for the single player alone. Bugs have almost been fully eradicated, although you may stumble across a few. When you are new to the game, the time it takes to complete the story is respectable, and normal mode is reasonably testing. But after 50+ hours, the story length will feel short lived, and normal mode will become boring. a combination of multiplayer and hard / hard survival mode will keep the game interesting beyond that 50 hour point. Hope the sequel offers a much longer narrative, as that is the only real critique I could give to The Forest.
