The mechanics and fun factor are there but something is still missing from this game... You will be better off buying one of the newer F1 games like 2016 or 2017

At the beginning I would like to clarify that my "Not-Recommended" applies only to the Steam version of the game. This Nostalgic Masterpiece is unfortunately unplayable without downloading the fanmade patches. If you are aiming to buy this game, do it on the GOG website, as it does not have any problems with running on the Windows 10. I personally own this game on both platforms, and can fully recommend the Good Old Games version.

As it goes to the game itself it is a must play for all people who loves dark-fantasy RPGs. It is a classic, that for me changed standards I expect from the Role Playing Games in general. This dark vision of the Prison Collony captivates you with its realistic presented world and interesting story. I like how in this game you are always focused on the main plot, even when you are just exploring the world or doing the side-quests. Everything is connected in one unified world. Unfortunately, you need to be aware that the combat system and controls in general are a little bit clunky, and did not aged well. I still remember how I was trying to figure out how to pick up a simple stick from the ground for couple of minutes, when I firstly played this game few years ago.
However, if it won't pull you away, you will be able to sunk into this amazing handcrafted world, full of stories and dark secrets.
