I'm considered one of the oldest species in the ocean, the Bathynomous gigantecus,a deep-sea dump isopod similar to a large cochineal. My species, can reach a length of fifty centimeters, 2 exhibits a chitinous exoskeleton segmented in head, thorax and abdomen. I appendages and paired antennas and compound eyes like those of terrestrial insects. We have no predators and I used to live in pelagic wastelands that until then were considered uninhabitable.
