I've never left a review of a game prior to this, but with this most recent patch (U9) I felt I had to.

Wow. Just wow. I started playing when U8 came out and was having a blast. The combat is addicting and satisfying. Easy to grasp, but difficult to master. The graphics are okay, but the performance was pretty bad. I have a pretty nice setup too. So needless to say I was a bit sad to be turning down settings with a 2080. Genuinely this was my only huge complaint. The modding community is fantastic. That alone outweighed the performance issues I had. So my initial rating of this game would be a 7/10.

The most recent patch was a game changer. So much was added, cleaned up, and most importantly optimized. The game runs buttery smooth now. Like night and day differences. So I really commend these devs. I'm incredibly excited to see where they take things moving forward.

TLDR:
Easy buy. 9/10. Good dev team. Excited to see where it goes moving forward.
