would be fun but relies completely on online functionality, no form of practice other than playing against other players

byfar my favorite game of all time without question, just wish the creators cared about it too

you know, there was a point in time where this game was fun, when seer was released i thought the game was gonna be nice and balanced and fair the whole time but its really not, half the guns in this game are absolutely broken, the l star, the havoc, literally any other energy weapon BESIDES THE VOLT WHICH THEY DECIDED TO PUT IN CARE PACKAGE, the flatline is horribly broken with the easiest possible recoil and each shot that connects is dealing way more damage than most other guns, the wingman is horribly horribly broken, if you get hit by that thing 3 times in round 1 arenas you're literally dead, the new maps they come out with are the worst maps ive ever seen in all of gaming, if a box is moving towards you at an angle you can climb it but not actually climb it, got me killed one game, valk has the best passive in the game, a spectacular ult, and yet as wraith you need to wait a full second before you can void jump just to get chased by a 3 team because its not even really that fast, and ive been killed while inside the void as wraith, there's a couple frames where you're in the void but can still take damage and that's pretty stupid to me, pathy is pretty garbage because of his big hitbox and still has worse movement than valk since her jetpack is literally a passive that charges in about 10 seconds, control is just a rat gamemode, you put 16 people into a rat gamemode because you need to control points to win, not actually get kills kills dont count towards anything at all, the new arenas map is terrible and so is the second newest one, they made the maps too big and open, you cant actually do anything once you get shot at besides hide behind a box and get an angle held on you, i literally can barely see the enemies because my screen is small and they all blend in with the background, bloodhound's ult is way too good, wraith's is way too bad, gibby takes so little damage that you can full clip point blank with an r-301 and he wont die, every time i enter a room in control when i get slightly away from my teammates there's 2 gibbys 5 wraiths and 20 wattsons all using flatlines and havocs and everyone is sweating their ass off constantly so they can post their k/d on instagram and get 2 likes and a comment going "great job :)" and the thing is, these have all been issues since i started playing, they never nerfed valk, they never nerfed bloodhound's ult, they never buffed pathy they never nerfed the flatline they never even tried to change the recoil on that damn thing they never tried to make it so that you cant spam the havoc around a corner so that it charges instantly, they even added a turbocharger to the havoc, what's next disruptor rounds for the r-99? and i say that as a joke but im not actually confident that they wont do that, the wingman does 45 damage a shot if i recall correctly, if you use the wingman enough its not hard to adapt to the accuracy and the insane strafe speed and i dont think they ever nerfed the wingman, they nerfed wraith though like 50 times, they nerfed shotguns apparently i just looked up nerfs and they took flatline off the ground, put put it in the replicator... permanantly... like that makes it any better at all once you find a replicator you have a guaranteed flatline at least before it was up to chance and they reduced the damage per bullet from 19 to 18, wow thanks apex what a good balancing change oh also the devotion is broken as hell, and only gets 2x as broken when a rampart is using it, you just cant fight against the clip size on that thing because they get to fire forever and then have like a 2 second reload, i enjoyed this game for a good while, and i was so happy to be coming back, but now playing the game makes me feel like im being taken advantage of, you wanna look cool spend money, you want your weapon to be nice spend money, you want an heirloom spend all the money you have, oops looks like you got an heirloom for a character you dont use anymore, spend more and more and more money, they like to say that they dont wanna make apex like a pay to win game or a cash grab but they just keep the pay to win r-99 skin in the game readily available to anybody that wants it, they keep the pay to win wingman, and the only way to get an actual good reticle is to go into your steam and ♥♥♥♥ with the launch settings like dude, just make your game better we obviously want some more better colors, and they just refuse to fix anything that i have a problem with in this game, i want to have fun, but the game isnt fun anymore when as soon as i get a kraber and get ready to take a shot there's a wattson camping B with a triple take, and as soon as i go to hide from wattson there's someone else with a longbow that shoots me in the side of the head, and then when i respawn my loadout is always backwards and not the way i like it so i end up dropping my car instead of my 30-30 and then i have to run back once i realize just to pick it up in another slot, like my god dude when did the game stop being fun, its to the point where all im really playing for is to shoot at someone and get a kill so i can get off on a good game instead of a bad one, but ive failed to realize apex is the bad game, they ruined it beyond comprehension, you can barely do anything on console movement-wise, pc players play like they just railed 18 lines of coke and washed it down with a g-fuel monster red bull smoothie holding angles like its valorant and i cant see them because my screen is dark and too far away and too small, every time i so much as think about having fun there's a whole squad beaming me with light weapons and my teammates just didnt follow me through the portal because they dont know that 3 people can overpower 2 people when one of their teammates is down and the rest have no shield, i waited weeks upon weeks, so much effort and so many emotions, just to redownload this game, and now that i downloaded it again i dont wanna play it, the wattson buff made her way too op, if you place a fence behind a wall the other person has to hold some wierd angle to get to the bottom part hoping and praying that you're not on the other side of the door with an r-301 aimed directly at their head, it just makes me so sad to see what this game has become, every good team consists of a combination of these legends, lifeline valk bloodhound bangalore octane mad maggie fuse and maybe a wraith, now dont get me wrong, its not bad to have a meta, you can have certain legends that are played more than others, but when you compare those legends to legends like pathy or horizon its just not even a fight, and with all that being said, i dont think im gonna be playing this game again without a friend or some serious balance changes because the way the game is right now is borderline unplayable for me personally, respawn, please fix your game, you nailed it with titanfall you really did, the game was a straight banger even though titans could take you out in like one shot you can put some moves on them and they wont be fast enough to shoot you before you climb on top and take their battery and as a titan you have defensive abilities for that exact type of thing, you can tell they just stopped trying once they added in valk, they dont care about balancing they dont care about the player base they just care about money, ill say this again, respawn please fix your game, its possible if you guys actually try at all or listen to your community

just as good as i remembered, top tier game, literally everything i want in a game like this combined into one hell of a good time

i find this a fun game the game is about a schizophrenic seeming baby and a dad the goal as the baby is to kill yourself because why not and as the dad its to keep the baby alive until your wife gets home but i really do wish some of the glitches were fixed but i’m sure they will get to that but besides that this game is basically the only reason i use my computer anymore
