This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, please play it this free weekend.

At first i was skeptical about getting it, but eventually i wanted to see what it was all about.
Currently i'm only halfway through the game so this inst a full review, but based on my experience so far.
Death Stranding is like Skyrim, but with barley any fast travel, and its not terrible. The environment is beautiful and almost every time i enter a new area the view just gets more breathtaking, and their is alot of things to see, explore and do. While the online feature is really cool being able to team up with other "porters" to build bridges, roads, and even safehouses where the player can stay. Even though you cant see other players you can still feel like working together twords an objective. The story may be confusing at first but a deeper glance reveals all the lore that sets in a backstory for what happened to the world and the characters. The characters may start off bland and will make you want to skip every cutscene but eventually the turn into more interesting characters with compelling backstories. The game so far is long with also long cutscenes and many character building moments with alot of side-quest style missions which have the player going back and fourth between distribution centers. And while these missions can get very repetitve and lose grip of the player, they do build up the setting and plot.

So far my opinion is that while the game is fun and a explorer's sandbox, the game starts off rough but settles into a compelling plot with interesting characters and lore. SO FAR i rate it a 3.5/5 for amazing artwork, scenery, Characters, and gameplay.
