I started playing this game in late February. Now, almost exactly 5 months later I have accumulated 500 hours of playtime.

So it's time for a review, I guess.

Positives:
+ The developers are fantastic! Once you bought the base game you have access to all items and the current season pass. And all those items you earn by just playing the game. No microtransactions. no pay to win. Once a season ends the items you didn't unlock go to the general loot pool, so that nothing gets lost.

+ There are several DLCs you can buy, but they are purely cosmetic and optinional and are a way to show appreciation to the devs and their ongoing work.

+ The community is the nicest and most helpful I've ever seen in an online game. I can count my bad encounters on one hand.

+ The community also shares 2 single braincells, one for "We're rich!" and one for "MUSHROOM!"

Negatives:
- You will most likely break your V-key eventually.
- My muscle memory is all about mining and shooting bugs now. I can't play any other game anymore.

Summary:
Once you start to Rock and Stone you can never come back. :D

There is much to do, to build and to collect, that it won't get boring for a long time.

It's especially fun when you play with friends and do a lot of crazy stuff together.
Another great feature is that you can make bands and play music on different instruments with your friends.

There is much more room for improvement and new features and I can't wait to see what the devs come up with in the future.

Also, I can recommend the game for its astonishing soundtrack alone. <3

Team Fortress 2 is the most deserving for the “THE LABOR OF LOVE” AWARD.

This game is literally ten years old and still loved and played by tens of thousands of people. And don't forget all the creative minds in the community who provide us with maps, SFM posters/animations, cosmetics, artwork, music etc.

I hope that the greatest hat simulator of all time will still be strong in 10 years! <3
