Firstly: Sony is removing the mandatory PSN linking, which is fantastic.

Helldivers 2 is a game which has proven to be very fun, and obviously has some very passionate developers behind it, though at the time of writing this review it does have many bugs which drag down the gameplay experience, I hope these will be fixed in time. It also lacks variety in armor passives and effective anti-heavy enemy armament. As more warbonds come out I think those 2 problems should solve themselves.

Overall it's still a very fun game though, best enjoyed with friends.
