I shouldn't need to explain why doubling down on making a slow game slower consistently, in addition to further enhancing the extreme advantage you already had in this game while defending is a bad idea.

Its not even slower in a "fun" realistic way - it just feels like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to take 20+ minutes to walk somewhere to die because your noodle ass arms can't aim at a guy 20 feet away - or getting suppressed by rounds hitting a wall 2+ walls away from you - it just doubles down on literally every bad feature in any recent FPS game to make what was once enjoyable now like playing the worst parts of metro in bf3.

TLDR - Inertia is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in tarkov, and OWI is stupid enough to not learn from the "other" "realistic" game to not ♥♥♥♥ with movement - go play project reality instead - its better and free.

Games Amazing so far for the time put in - with the exception of what I think most people would agree is a literally uplayable bug given the games pacing, genre etc.

The game doesn't allow me to make saves...

A game that is about long form, pick up and put down detective casing doesn't allow you to make saves...

So I hope you weren't planning on progressing up a career path or anything like that.

Can't transfer UNC on website to actually be on game account - in fact - don't even see any option to do so at all - like a complete lack of button.
Can't actually buy anything with said UNC if you somehow did get it onto your account - and likely do to lack of integration with backend working - your UNC will diminish without the product ever actually being added.
Can't Transfer year 1 starter pack or other veteran items.

Can Still buy things via steam integration
Can Still buy UNC on the website

Doesn't seem scammy at all to be able to still buy a product you can't actually receive - and seem to be specifically prevented from redeeming.

Oh wow it gets better... so now my current UNC balance as far as I can tell has been removed entirely on the website? I sure hope when the servers restart in a few hours that its an in-game balance then - that is actually useable.

So - my advice to the community at this time is pretty simple - rather then reposting server not work etc - focus in on the pending legal issue if you want real change to happen - and to happen fast.

I strongly wish I could recommend this game - the infantry gameplay is solid for the most part.

But given the development cycle problems we have another case of cyberjank 2042 here - a waste of time, money - when you can even get into a game that is

6/10 - would error 151 for the sixth month in a row straight.

First I'll address my low hour count - lack of content or enjoyment to be had - coupled with 11+ months of waiting for a constantly delayed or edited update.

I've considered how to write this review for a few hours now - how best to warn or explain my personal perspective, and maybe, just maybe, persuade you from wasting your coin on this never finished garbage

To put it bluntly - the last minor hot-fix of this game was done 11 months ago as of this review - and that entire time has been a teasing of a complete rebuild of the game with end of last month as drop time

Come this month? Delayed, release (when it happens) has shrunk from the current roster of around 20 dinosaurs to two...

Let that sink in - 11 months - oh ♥♥♥♥ sorry guys - we only have two... and no ETA

And those two dinosaurs? they weren't the focus of that 11 month dev process...

Frankly I have no faith or respect for this type of development - regardless of personal excuse - because it is a company product, before it is a personal one.

In short - don't invest in this latest day z crap - go buy an actual game.
