This might be one of the most engaging low-stakes VNs I've read in a while. Playing the demo got me curious, and I got way more than I bargained for. Don't let the NSFW content scare you away, because the story beats in each path are full of heart. Characters are interesting and very easy to grow attached to, with something new to find out with each one to focus on. It even makes the spicier content more gratifying, as it's a lot of emotional buildup coming to a head. No regrets whatsoever. If anyone's feeling curious about Mice Tea, give it a whirl!

Not bad. There are some definite rough patches that need smoothing over, but this was otherwise enjoyable. If you're looking for something that is precisely like Valve's handiwork, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for a good time in a familiar setting, you'll probably enjoy yourself (Except for that one poorly placed autogun in New Alaska). Give it a whirl if the mood strikes you.

I'm not usually into horror games. Honestly, the only reason I got this one was because it was free and thought "What the heck. I'll give it a shot." I was blown away by how much I was enjoying myself just as much as I was frightened. The gameplay is simple, but works very well, and the choice you have to make between sanity and safety adds a layer of tension to the monster encounters. Excellent all around.

Talk about a pleasant surprise. People keep talking about how great the game is, and now I finally get why. It's gameplay is simplistic and fun, and is story is engaging. Not only that, but the morality system here feels like the logical conclusion to systems set up by games like Shin Megami Tensei or Bioshock. The characters here are a blast as well. Special mentions going to Toriel, Mettaton, and Papyrus. If there is anyone who has not written their own Undertale yet, I would recommend they pick this up and give it a whirl.
