Honestly, Undertale deserves all of the praise that it received. Amazing and memorable characters, excellent choice driven story, and truthfully one of the most phenomenal soundtracks I've heard out a video game to date are just a few out of the many aspects of the game that deserve praise. However, Undertale has... fallen from grace a little bit, to say the least. This is just my opinion, but I believe that the fanbase overhyped the game to the point of ruining it, very similar to the of Five Nights At Freddy's (which I never really liked in the first place to be honest). Don't get me wrong, this game has a very high replayability factor, its interesting bullet-hell combat system was fresh, and the story and character development, including the inclusion of LGBT characters in the form of Undyne and Alphys, were more than selling points for me, but the severe overhyping of the game kinda ruined the experience. Also the ridiculous amount of porn that exists if you look up Undertale on google. Overall, I give this game 10/10, but just know that this masterpiece is a shadow of its former self because of the extremism of the fans.
