Frantic, intense, frustrating, and at times even hilarious. Pacify has proven to be a lot of fun in the short amount of time I've spent with it thus far. A challenging horror game in which you and up to 3 friends run around a locked up mansion either competitively or cooperatively searching for keys, two different types of dolls, matches, and kindling in an effort to make your escape. Why the hell would you need keys, dolls, matches, and wood to escape a mansion, you ask? Well, I don't exactly understand why and it doesn't really matter, but you have to use one type of doll to "pacify" little miss tape mouth, and the other evil little wenches (dolls) need to be torched in the boiler room to get the eff out of there. It doesn't make any sense and, frankly, it doesn't really need to. What matters is that this game is absolutely worth the price of admission IF you have at least one friend to play it with and/or don't mind matchmaking. Though, I would probably save your pennies if you're not able to play this little gem in multiplayer as I imagine any single-player enjoyment would be short lived due to the difficulty and repetitive nature of the game.

I've never seen anything quite like this before and that alone makes it an easy game to recommend. It will still need to be fleshed out more and it could certainly use a fair bit of polish to become a truly great game, but the developer has hit a home run on both the concept and foundation of the game. There is a ton of untapped potential here, and I mean that in the best of ways. As it is, it's a thumbs up in my opinion. If the developer continues to actively build on what they've produced thus far, this could easily become a must buy. I am very much looking forward to seeing how this game develops moving forward. Keep up the good work dev!

Fate Hunters is a fairly simple and straightforward card game that, despite it's simplicity, manages to be a lot of fun. It also still manages to offer it's players a pretty stiff challenge. The goal of the game is essentially to fight your way through room after room of increasingly difficult monsters in an effort to permanently build up your character(s) via the treasure you acquire along the way. It's a well polished game with a lot going for it for the casual card game fans. With that said, it might not appeal to the more hardcore deck-building, card collecting, Magic the Gathering types. Though, as someone who isn't into that whole scene, I am happy about that. It's an easy to pick up and play, and not think too hard about it type of game that I think is well worth the price of admission. I definitely recommend it.
