This game is a lot of fun to play, even when you first start out and don't know what you're doing. I'd recommend playing the game mode 'limited heros' as it is much easier for noobs, and you will play against people of roughly your skill level. There is a LOT of learning to do on Dota but it is really fun to just play the game and realise you are getting better. It's also really addictive.
