I will change this review possibly when the game is capable of being played offline without a debug menu. for now, its an awful launch, no doubt about it. Great game that you physically can't even play

Most fun I have had with a mortal kombat game in a long time, one of the most responsive in terms of control which as a keyboard player makes me capable of fighting well, and the characters are freaking great to play with
Story mode is quite silly at times but is still plenty entertaining, and the online has been working pretty great, runs smooth for me
I know there are some issues with others but luckily i haven't ran into too many issues myself

The biggest gripe i have is the price, 70 dollars is a price point i severely disagree with for a base game, luckily i was able to get a discount, but paying over 70 to 100 dollars for *any* game, specially one that has issues like i have seen others have at launch is pretty bad.
I would recommend this, most especially at a discount

While more expensive than DBD, it is certainly a competitor offering a unique twist on the assymetrical horror formula. Both sides are fun to play as, though i am muuuch worse at survivor since i need to get used to it all, having only played most of the beta as the family. Easy pick up if you enjoy these types of games, Gun interactive did a damn good job

Starting off the year real strong, and completely out of nowhere as well!

From first impressions of the first few levels, it is a very well made action game which combines rhythm elements that
help blend the combat together in a beautiful and explosive symphony of both rock and roll and a very stylized comic book

The animations are smooth as heck, especially with the entire world moving along with the beat of the music (which, is
also really good if you love rock and roll), and your attacks flow buttery smooth

Though, I can't say I love the main character Chai as much as the world he lives in (at least not yet from what i have played of him), as he is very cocky, and also.. just a pretty dumb guy. Maybe he will grow with me more as time goes through, as I do enjoy the banter he has with the cat companion you get in the game early on (as she points out his stupidity and brashness to comedic effect, getting a good few chuckles out of me)

bonus points go out to how each and every attack from the enemies is clearly telegraphed and easy to follow, which makes pretty much every time you get hit your fault, and also to the reactive music that allows pretty much every attack of yours to sync up to the music as it continues to swell during fights

all of it.. is just damn good fun, and its an easy recommend at 30 bucks
seriously.. 30 bucks for a game of this quality in 2023? That is rare

Share this game with your friends, spread the news of this sleeper hit, it deserves all of the recognition it could possibly get

if you loved paragon before the bad changes, you will love this game too, or if you would just rather play a moba that isn't dota or league

Quite a fun take on among us, though my only gripe with it is that it could very much use the maps from vanilla to give it more meat
good luck playing this game if you are playing alone though, as you will most likely encounter the exact same problems of solo playing vr among us as you would vanilla, with children and trolls

Been waiting for this title for months since it got released, before I even had a job to afford anything

I watched all of the trailers, watched people play the beta, combo videos of people who got the game early, just consuming DNF Duel content until I could get my mits on it

And finally, it is here, and let me say.. it's pretty damn good
The netcode is great, the tutorials teach you everything you need to know without being too hard to grasp, I want to main every single character in the game because they are all so freaking cool

And the best part..?
Ranked lobbies have zero stupid avatar system!

If you are new to fighting games, this would be an excellent entry to grease your wheels without kicking your ass too hard
If you are a seasoned fighter like me, you will still be able to find some real crazy combos with due time

I hope more people pick this up and give it the recognition it deserves

Wearing it's inspiration right on it's shoulders, it brings back awesome memories of the culling, with very nice Rock paper scissor style combat and a whole array of fun items and mechanics to make it unique in it's own ikea way.
I wish the SFX were more punchy for weapons, and it very clearly shows it's still an early access game, with the lack of polish it has

but despite that, it is well worth a try, and I highly recommend it
jump yourself into ikea and throw every single chair you can

Road 96. Where do i start with this? First I ever saw of this game was a man yelling at you for not liking dinosaurs, and soon enough i found the game itself. Played the demo, enjoyed my time with it, and a couple months later, bought this game. What do i think of it?

Well, I find it to be a real engaging and fun choose your own adventure type of game. I liked every single one of the characters, they all were a real pleasure to learn their backstories and views on the election, as well as the various deeds they get up to that coincide with the main story ^^

I will say though, that some scenarios i got in certain parts of the story made me scratch my head, as some of them confused me on why they were happening at all, mostly due in part to past scenarios i have gotten, or the main story that already happened

I also wish that some of the characters acknowledged you again if they already met you, instead of acting like they never met you.. despite talking to you just several hundred miles ago >w>. don't get me wrong, they sometimes do acknowledge you, but not all the time

Despite those flaws, i really loved my time with this game, the soundtrack especially is one i am going to be listening to for hours and hours on end, it has so many bangers, and they are free on spotify if you want to take a listen ^^
If you are a fan of choose your own adventure games, and having your choices make huge impacts.. stay tuned as i attempt to get the other endings and make different choices when i replay this ><.

All in all though, with the cheap price tag of just twenty dollars, i could easily recommend this to anybody who is into these kinds of games

It can use some serious optimization, but other than that, i can see myself playing this more than the usual battle royales. free, unique with the vampire powers and ways you gain power, and also quite fun to move around.
