Heroes and Generals what can I say???

I started the game with such enthusiasm because I don't like fps games but back in the day I was playing so many ww2 fps games like call of duty 2, red orchestra etc.

After 580,4 hrs and some late events on the devstream I can say that you should avoid this game.

First of all the photos here in steam are completely a trap the game isn't like that.It was in the early alpha.
Now they have added too many shadows, fog and a grey/sepia filter and literally you can't see ♥♥♥♥.
The weapons are broken, they have added prototype weapons and even weapons from korean war and a tank.

The devs always say that they are listening the community and the feedback but they are locking threads considering the biggest issues in the game like the color fix and they only add unwanted things like camos.

avoid this game , days of war is coming and battalion 1944.

did I mention that this game is in beta for almost 4 years?

it was very promising but the devs ruined it completely , all the vets are very dissapointed and frustrated and they will leave the game as I did.

Before Adams update: 7/10
After Adams update and the behavior of devs: 3/10

You forgot to mention that the devs are constantly adding new weapons and nerfing the hell out of previously good guns to keep you buying new ones. Not to mention they keep extending the grind to unlock new soldier types. Yeah, devs, I'm going to pay real money for things you are just going to "rebalance" in the next update.

Fun fact: I used to buy veterancy on occasion for 30 days at a time, then one time, right after I bought a month, they nerfed XP gain to ONE FOURTH of what it had been, which meant that even with my veterancy, I still gained less XP than I would have before without it. They kept it like that for two weeks before they corrected their "mistake" (hoping we wouldn't notice they nerfed XP gain permanently) yet kept all my money. That was the last time I paid any money for this game, and even though I didn't spend that much, I really regret every cent I gave these assholes.

Hopefully "Days of War" and "Battalion 1944" fulfill the obligation that, at first I thought, H&G would.
