You would think a game this unstable would let you save. I've spent more time on the forums looking for fixes than I have being able to progress this game.

Singleplayer is generally a great experience. The fact you have to run through the game 3 times to play all the missions may be a bit tedious, but most of them are very short and entertaining for their duration. 1st run is probably the most frustrating due to the limited options of chapter one making the last boss of it a game of pure bust DPS, after that the game is much more open with greater room to experiment & not need to focus on how fast you can put out damage.
Each end boss for the most part stays true to AC vs AC combat without making them rely on one off gimmicks. Instead they challenge you as if you're playing against a player who has an advantage over you that can only be overcome by skillfully using your tools to overcome them, or you can just use what ever OP PvE build you find on youtube and sleepwalk through them.

Multiplayer is something, I'm not sure that something is a net positive for the game. This is plagued by Fromsoftware's always questionable netcode & some possible oversights in the design of a handful of weapons, also laggy fist stunlocks are more horrifying than they have any right to be. I've also encountered plenty of missiles that either teleport, turn invisible or hit you after they've already collided with the ground.

If you've played prior AC games this one is another departure from it's roots when it comes to speed & controls.
It feels most like AC 5, but the turn speed might as well be instant in most cases. There's no separate scan mode or super weapons & you can't really stay in the air indefinitely.

I'm at the point where I think From Software is far better at making the dark fantasy settings part than the 3rd person action RPG part.
