I have played hundreds of games through out my lifetime and this game probably takes the pedestal for my favourite

only things you need to know is that
-you can only experience this game once (ignoring the massive amount of details you might miss on your first play through)
-best experienced blind (try your best to not look anything up)

10/10 would get jumpscared by a centipede again

Bought the game on sale not really knowing what to expect
I can definitely say that I wasn't let down

I adore the whole psychological horror combined with the ocean, it's the perfect combo for mystery and fear

I finished the game in 9.8 hours (not including all the side quests) which is decent

I wont spoil anything on the story but it took me in directions I did not expect which I really do appreciate

We NEED more AAA games like this

A summarised list of things it does right:
Didn't release as a buggy mess
Makes you feel like you're actually in control
Is as faithful to DND mechanics as a game could be
Has an engaging story
Has a well adapted multiplayer system
Detailed character customisation
For what it offers it's fairly well optimised

The only thing I can think of that really could be better is if modding relied on the steam workshop instead of Nexus but you don't NEED mods to play the game and besides, it is still possible to mod it regardless so that's more of a suggestion than a criticism

Overall if you're looking for a good time especially with friends then this game will fill that role for a long time.
