Cyberpunk is a middeling shooter with some light RPG elements. That in itself wouldnt be a problem for me if that was how the marketing had portrayed the game, however marketing this game as an RPG is downright false advertising. there are three "Roles" to play for you all of which amount to a different starting location and some occasional flavortext and thats it for roleplaying. I probably would have thought the writing in this game was the coolest thing ever at age 15, however playing this game now it strikes me as incredibly obnoxious and hard to tolerate. Every little bit of emotional depth is stripped out in favour of "cool" one liners and quips, its like you asked james gunn and duke nukem to rewrite blade runner and it gets incredibly grating after the first half hour. the dialogue options youre given mostly amount to "say yes" and "say yes sarcastically" so i started just skipping the dialogue because why am i wasting my time on saying all this if it doesnt make a difference in the end. I think it says alot about your game when there is forum posts and threads of people trying to MOD OUT THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS and most of the main story. CD Project red promised a world and delivered a theme park, its deus ex human revolution all over again, only this time we have good games of its Genre to compare it to. ultimately im just sad about the wasted potential and i hope that the modding community can slowly work to turn this into an actual RPG instead of the FPS game with bodymods that we got.

after installing and starting random windows started to close. then it crashed and i cloudnt close it due to it blocking my entire screen so i had no other option as to restart my computer. not reccomendet
