A fun, hectic deck builder where skill and luck are important in equal degrees. Some slight balance issues exist, but its a fun casual arena shooter with an interesting gimmick.

A broadly enjoyable game that suffers from some performance issues. The gameplay is satisfying and over the top, feeling appropriately like an 80s action movie. Throwing punks out of high rise windows on the first level is hilarious, as is beaning them with ancient crt monitors. There's also critical damage and unique animations for shooting perps in the ♥♥♥♥.

This game is excellent, with an emotionally impactful story and excellent style. The hand-drawn assets really shine and the game reasonably balances difficulty with enjoyable gameplay. As far as criticisms go, sometimes it could be difficult to tell what was the background and what was the play area, and boss difficulty varies a lot. A few could do with checkpoints. Nevertheless, I'll be recommending this game to anyone who will listen.
