Fun strategy game. If you like sci-fi as well as grand strategy games, look no further.

What I Think About No Man's Sky (as of the Pathfinder Update)

This game (obviously) had a rocky launch riddled with many many bugs and gameplay issues. If you would've asked me back then what I thought about this game, I would've laughed and said that it was quite frankly a joke. Half the advertised features were either not what they were advertised as or simply nonexistent. The performance on even the best computers could only be described as horrid, and even if you managed to play with the low framerates, you would certainly run into a gamebreaking glitch that forced you to load up an earlier save. However, a lot of that has changed. HelloGames upheld complete radio silence, leaving many to think that they had simply abandoned the game after getting their money. However, about four months later, they came back with the Foundation Update, "The first of many." The game recieved an entire basebuilding feature as well as new HUD elements, freighters, survival mode, and more. The game recieved much more optimization as well as more bugfixes. While this was a major step in the right direction, the game still had its fair share of bugs and optimization issues. Many gameplay elements were unfair, either being too easy or too hard. HelloGames may have released a good update, but it was still not enough. After another three months, HelloGames has released another update with more features than the last one. They improved upon the game, both gameplay-wise and graphically. A new vehicle was added, allowing for quicker travel on the planet's surface. Optimization and quality-of-life changes made the game even better and giving it more shape. While this game certainly still isn't what people were initially expecting, it has already drastically changed since initial release. As for whether or not I'd buy this game, with only the knowledge of the gameplay mechanics I wouldn't spend a full $60 on this game. However, with the knowledge of how devoted HelloGames is to making this a great game added onto how good of a game it already is, I would most definitely pay full price on this game. Overall, my current score for the game is an 8/10. It's a really good game currently, but it's still not the best game out there.

This game is simply amazing. Most people joke about people playing this game for hundreds of hours, and it's true. When I first got this game I only got it because a friend practically forced me into getting it. I thought that it couldn't be *that* good of a game, but I was very wrong. There is so much to see, and it's impossible to see everything in one playthrough. And while you're going through everything, the game feels alive, and the sheer size of everything makes you feel small and weak even when you're in the best armor with the best swords and spells.

This is an amazingly innovative game, but there is not much of a community any more.

An amazing game. If you are looking for a game that stresses teamwork you are in the right place, as this game requires almost complete cooperation to win.
