First time playing a game of this genre, so I don't have any expectations for a boomer shooter. That being said, this game is great! Being to traipse through a long level, die pretty far in, and then realizing that once you know the enemy placements you can speedrun where you were once cowering behind every corner, it grants a feeling of instant gratification and mastery that is unlike anything else I've played. Now I truly understand my insane pace, me & Mark Rutzou.

Probably the best rougelike deckbuilder in my opinion, even over Slay the Spire (although it may be less addictive). Definitely has the best difficulty curve when it comes to the highest difficulties, as shops and relics are impactful enough that even if you have a run that seems doomed, you're always just one good roll away from coming back. Maybe that's why it's less of a time sink, as the game doesn't indulge in the tedious artificial difficulty that otherwise plagues the genre, but that ultimately makes for a tighter, more rewarding experience.
