ever played watch_dogs? no? good. that game's hacking is crap compared to this. yes? stop playing it. this is better.

Hacknet is one of the best hacking simulators I have ever seen. not only does it look realistic, but it uses legitamate UNIX commands in the game. anyone familiar with linux will enjoy this, but if you don't, who cares?! let me tell you what this game has to offer.

first of all, it has a reasonably interesting plotline. I won't say much, but lets put it this way. Bit is a deceased hacker, and you have to find out how he REALLY died. through missions, you get closer to finding the truth, and getting the justice he deserves.
Depending on how you play, you end up following different paths. one being the Entropy path, the other being CSEC, and one more that I'll let you figure out on your own ;)
The GUI of the game is simple and beutiful. it lays everything out in an organized manner that puts all the control in your hands. Not only that, but the audio is just as good as the visuals. The music in this game is something that gets you pumped up for what's coming your way. and if you're into techno, great. I mean, what did you expect from a hacking/computer-based game? opera? pop? not a chance.
One thing I will say though, this game can get REALLY frustrating, and I'm not putting that lightly. You will have to use your brain to get through this game. regardless, the mechanics are simplistic and easy to learn, but the missions aren't exactly what I would call "a walk in the park".

Finally, in the words of the game's creator himself, Matt Trobbiani, "I do kind of hope I'm creating the Hackers of the future, and I think that's great."

Early Access Review
This game is amazing. To my knowledge there isn't an actual end to the game, but it's more open world and infinite. You gather resources to survive, craft, and explore. The crafting system is fairly unique compared to other games, and is more realistic also. The game being realistic is not just the crafting, but the whole game (aside from the whole eat and drink and you'll get back to full health, but excluding that would make the game too hard.) for anyone looking for a realsitic, open world, craft-and-survive game, I definetely recommend stranded deep.

Terraria is a very fun game! its pixel-based graphics are really funny, and it includes LOADS of stuff, such as merchants, demons, bosses, and some other cool things! you can choose lots of options on how you ant to make your world, such as the size, and its multiplayer. I admit, setting up a multiplayer game is complex, but hey, look for a tutorial on youtube and your set! I would definitely get this game.
