This is low, even for BHVR. Not even worth $5 man lol.

Quite possibly the worst "modern DBD" chapter ever. Killer is weak, confusing and basically helpless against a semi-coherent team, perks suck and aren't worth the price.

My favourite fighting game... but it has some issues.
This is hands down the best fighting game I've played. I absolutely love how in-depth it is, how it plays, how it feels and nothing compares to pulling off a Tekken combo. Depending on how a match goes, you can leave thinking this is the worst game ever or the best game ever.

The main issues are definitely the DLC's, Online scripters and smurfers. Other than that, this is an amazing game.

Ignoring all the "meme" and joke reviews, I'm going to be brutally honest and obviously come out with an extremely controversial take looking at the 94% positive rating... I personally think this instalment is mediocre. I'll give my reasons why and little explanations backing up my reasonings starting now.

1) "Unlock to Unlock" Progression
Unlike Help Wanted One you don't actually get to pick which games or minigames you'd like to try first. Each "genre" has 1 available game and you MUST complete them to unlock more. This would usually be fine but some of these minigames are downright atrocious and serve no purpose whatsoever. One of my least favourite's is LITERALLY serving food and making drinks... how is this in a Five Night's at Freddy's Game? To unlock the better games you have to stand through 15~20 minutes of making specific drink & food orders... just a terrible decision and an unfun minigame, it also doesn't help that some of the better minigames are LOCKED until you complete those absolute slogs.

2) Sister Location Downgraded
One of my favourite FNAF installments was Sister Location, so when I heard it was going to be in Help Wanted 2 I was extremely excited... but upon loading up the game, what you ACTUALLY get is MINIGAMES from Sister Location. Such as "Ballora Gallery." This means you don't get to experience the full game, just parts of it. This, in my opinion, is EXTREMELY lazy considering in Help Wanted 1 had 4 WHOLE FNAF games. Also, as a sidenote, NO Pizzeria Simulator minigames or games at all. Very disappointing.

3) Lazy Minigames
Most of this game is things you'd find in RecRoom or VRChat. "Shoot the Targets" "Paint the Painting" "Bowling" "Make the Correct Food Order" "Match the Music & Colours." These are all EXTREMELY lazy minigames that have been available FOR FREE on VRChat and RecRoom for YEARS. Just because it's got "FIVE NIGHT'S AT FREDDY'S" put in front of it doesn't mean these game modes are any less lazy than something a person could, and has, made for free on RecRoom.

4) Recycled Ideas
The funny thing is, the best minigames are ones ripped straight from Help Wanted 1. Such as "Staff Only" maintance modes where you repair Freddy or do Roxy's Makeup. Hell, even "Fazerblast" is a rip off from the Dreadbear DLC of Pirate Ship where you shoot targets. ALTHOUGH these were very liked gamemodes, so I understand why they'd bring them back.

CONCLUSION;
Yeah, Help Wanted 2 is a let down. Is it TERRIBLE? No. Does it purposefully leave out things the community wanted and replaces them with extremely time consuming minigames nobody asked for? Yes. Is it WORTH $40? Absolutely not.

In my opinion, this is just a collage of short, lazy and easy to produce minigames, some which have been in VR games for 5~10 years already packaged as a "FNAF" game and sold for an extortionate price. My advice would be to wait until this game is on sale, maybe $10~15 and then buy it. Because nothing in this game screams "$40" to me.

A buggy, glitchy and unoptimised mess that isn't even worth buying on sale.

TLDR;
- The combat is finicky, clunky and stuck in 2012.
- The UI is also finicky, clunky and stuck in 2012.
- The game forces you into 3's. No single, no duo. This absolutely sucks.
- The game is completely unbalanced. Some characters are borderline unplayable, some characters are must plays.
- The map is too small for how many players it puts you with. You usually end up spawning with a team right on you or next to you.
- Same issues with the other MHA games; certain characters can stun-lock you to a point you can't retaliate. You just have to get your assbeat in real-time.

Yeah, this is just plagued with terrible coding, terrible balancing and seems to REFUSE to improve on ANYTHING the other MHA games were plagued with. Disappointing. This game will probably end up dying within 2~3 months.

It does work if you validate files and go into the Online menu. The reason I don't recommend it is that I don't think it's worth £9.99 or $12.19. You do get GTA$1M but this is all quickly spent on the free property you get as that property then needs a second PAID property. On top of that, the properties it unlocks only constitutes as a grinding simulator. No idea why somebody would pay $12.19 to grind for materials that other people can GRIEF.

Just not worth it. Go grind 2X$ matches instead.

Good Game, Bad Devs

Those are the two faces of The Last Of Us: the good and the bad. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss the good without addressing the bad. This title is undeniably haunted by its IP owner, "Naughty Dog," who seems determined, and successful, in undermining this franchise.

Full disclosure: I did not purchase the game on Steam, and I certainly did not pay $60 for it. I would recommend exploring alternatives, as this 10-year-old game does not justify the price of a new triple-A title, especially given the subpar quality of this port (keep reading for more details).

Good Game

The Last of Us 1 marked a pivotal moment in gaming history. It emerged at the zenith of the "zombie genre" trend, alongside titles like Telltale's The Walking Dead, State of Decay, and 7 Days to Die. Naughty Dog had a significant challenge ahead of them. Rather than following the same style as other zombie games, TLOU distinguished itself by presenting "zombies" differently and focusing on story, gameplay, providing a linear character-driven experience.

For the most part, TLOU is an exceptional game; a trendsetter that redefined the way we perceive games. With its spectacular graphics, compelling characters, and the profound "not-father & not-daughter bond" (which I believe drew inspiration from Lee and Clementine, as some of the more somber scenes bear striking resemblance), it introduced us to deeper gaming worlds, more nuanced characters, and intricate mechanics. The scavenging, crafting, gunplay, and melee combat are all executed flawlessly and offer a highly enjoyable experience.

So, what went wrong?

Bad Devs

The major issue with playing TLOU lies with its owner, Naughty Dog. This California-based subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment is overtly left-leaning. While the game ticks all the right boxes and addresses relevant topics, it tends to lean heavily into what's often referred to as "woke" (a term that, while overused, applies here). These topics include atheism, LGBTQ representation, and diversity. For instance, early on in the game, we encounter a character named Bill. The last thing I needed to know about Bill was his sexual orientation, but the game places significant emphasis on it, becoming one of the only times Joel expresses condolences in the game. Religion is also discussed by minors - an 11-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl - as they openly express their disbelief in Heaven and make jokes about it. That same 14-year-old girl later becomes a prominent character in an lesbian relationship. What's concerning is Naughty Dog's apparent fixation on assigning LGBTQ identities to child and minor characters, doing so not once, not twice, not three times, but around four more instances. It's genuinely discomforting to contemplate. You might be wondering, how did this affect TLOU? Well, my friend, these were just the seeds of what was to come. This pattern of promoting a particular ideology would ultimately lead to Chapter 2 of the game, revealing that Naughty Dog cared more about their agenda than the integrity of the IP, even at the cost of one of their most beloved protagonists.

Now, let's talk about the PC Port. Greedy Neil Druckmann, after upsetting TLOU fans with Chapter 2, decided to hand off the PC port to a random company. Unfortunately, this port was subpar and continues to be so. Achieving over 50 fps is a challenge, particularly if you attempt to run it at anything higher than medium settings. The game frequently crashes, experiences world unloading issues, and suffers from lighting problems. It's safe to say that this port was a disaster. Many attempted to defend it by playing the "Naughty Dog didn't handle the port" card. Fine, but whose IP is it? Who failed to oversee the port? Who submitted it to Steam? Who has yet to acknowledge or apologize for it?

In conclusion, if TLOU 1 had been left as TLOU 1, it would have stood as a genre-defining, perhaps even industry-redefining game, worthy of praise for its stunningly detailed graphics, character-driven linear plot, and exceptional world-building. However, as time has passed, it's devolved into what every Netflix show seems to do now. It's become a political and moral sermon delivered by millionaires, imposing their opinions and worldviews on players to the point where it's no longer an addition to the game, but a lesson within the game. I find myself fatigued by this trend of pushing intrusive political beliefs, particularly those involving minors, in games where they have no place.

If you can overlook what Chapter 2 does, if you can tolerate the uncomfortable and repetitive themes of sexuality, if you can accept the 30~50 fps performance, and if you can stomach the $60 price tag for a 10-year-old game... perhaps you might find some enjoyment in it.
