This game is pretty well polished and is extremely fun. The stealth isn't cheesy or lame, it feels just as good as old AC games. I played the VR game Apex Construct a while back and it has an extremely similar setting and story, which I absolutely love. Shooting robots in the eyes with a bow and arrow has never felt more satisfying (sorry to our future AI overlords).

Edit: I've now finished all sidequests after roughly two weeks and 90 hours, so I have some things to say. First, what was wrong.
The mounts? Terrible. Don't even try to use them with Keyboard and Mouse, it's just too annoying in the mountains. I will give them credit for the auto-follow trail ability, and using a controller isn't bad this way, but I tended to forget/avoid using a mount.
I also hated fighting glinthawks. Every time I hit their weak spot it causes damage to me? man.
There were A LOT of VERY GOOD things about this game:

I could not ask for a better plot/premise for a video game. This post-apocalyptic setting struck close to home and had terrific world-building. I love the sci-fi element built into a religious/indigenous setting, I loved every twist in the story, and the peak of the action for me was the build-up to the main reveal (when we first meet Sylens). The story was gripping enough that I wanted to scan every note, hear every monologue, do every quest. The combat was engaging and fun, and each larger machine I encountered as the game progressed was an intense and enjoyable challenge (like my first encounter with a Thunderjaw, that doesn't come around often!).
