I really liked this game, very original and engaging.
Basically, you hear the same moment in time as it happens in different rooms of the place you're investigating, so you get all the sides of a particular story, which you then piece together to solve the case. A character receives a call while you're in that room, you can note the time and go to different rooms at that time to find out who was calling them and what they were saying. It feels like you're eavesdropping, getting gossip, and also crucial evidence. It's just easy fun!
Can we pleeeeeeeeezzzzz get an English translation of the Chinese-only DLCs? Subs would be enough, pretty please?

It was ok. I know that the message is what matters here, so I won't criticize graphics and technical stuff, because it was clearly a choice.
As someone who's lived pretty much like this for years, I appreciate the intention. I really liked how the slight changes in every day small decisions may impact the way you react to the same things on different days.
That said, I would have appreciated a couple of different endings. As it is, it tells me that no matter what I do, how, or in which order, the end result is always the same, and there's no hope of any different outcome under any circumstances, which I think sends the wrong message.

Short and sweet, I was pleasantly surprised.
I thought I was embarking in a simple point-and-click like thousands of others, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The game play is a classic point-and-click, but I can't explain any further because it's impossible without spoiling the whole thing.
Pros:
+Very original and out-of-the-box story/plot
+Beautiful artwork
Cons (?):
-Puzzles a bit too easy
-Rather short

The game takes you by the hand a bit too much (up to you if that's a pro or a con). For example, to open a door you don't need to go to your inventory, grab the key, and apply the key to the door. The game knows you have the key, so you just click on the door. All the puzzles work this way.
I listed it being short as a con, but I'm not sure if being longer it would have become a bit annoying, so it could be that it's the right length for this kind of game.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. It was longer than I expected, and some of the puzzles a bit more challenging than I expected.
I liked the story mostly at first, interesting, different, gloomy, but towards the end it took a turn into the "classic trope supernatural" that made me miss the first half a bit. If you don't mind spoilers... I was more interested in the story of this isolated family in the countryside with a problem child who was bullied and developed psychopathic tendencies and all the tragedies that ensued as a consequence, rather than generational alchemy, blood sacrifice, tarot, magic rebirth, etc.
Very good artwork, minimalist dialog (VERY minimalist) but very expressive scenes.
Grab it, enjoy it!

Very good for a free game. The back story isn't super ground-breaking, but it's cool enough. There's a very cool feature in the game that will surprise you and makes it fresh and original.
It's creepy, scary, very well balanced between jump-scares and genuine suspense. Good music, good sound effects, nice puzzles.
It doesn't have saves, but it isn't that long. It can be done in an hour or less (unless you're really bad at orientation, like me).
Go for it!

Eerily on theme for 2020, even though it was released in November 2019, should I go for my tinfoil hat?
Treat yourself to this short, beautiful game, it will be a cool thing to do during your coffee break. Go for all the endings, because they contribute to tell the complete story.
---------------------
THE GOOD:
+ Beautiful artwork
+ Free!
+ Cool story, for such a short game
THE BAD:
- I can run super complex games in high graphics settings on my PC, but this one requires me to use "Medium" so it won't freeze, in a game with minimalist interactions. Something here needs to be fixed.
- Dialogs cannot be skipped. The game is already super short, but when you're starting over for a 3rd and 4th time to find the other endings, it's a little annoying.

It has the feel of the teaser/demo of a larger game, and the plot itself points to this idea. It works like an "escape the room" game.

+ Voice acting pretty cool, for such a short freebie.
+ Freedom to explore the room and several objects in it. I didn't feel taken by the hand, but it was still pretty clear what I had to do.
+ There was an actual story there waiting to be told.
+ Cool logical puzzles, no pixel hunting, no convoluted inventory combinations.
+ Nice random details and comments that add nothing to the puzzle solving, but make part of the feel and the story.

- The controls can be a bit wonky (disclaimer: I suffer motion sickness, so I may be overly sensitive to this).
- It's so short, even for a demo... but it's free, so...

If you're into adventure/puzzle/point&click games, just go for it, will do for a nice little treat while you have a coffee.

Pretty cute casual game, nothing challenging, but if you're into Agatha Christie's work and enjoy point-and-click adventure/puzzle games, get it while it's on sale.
THE GOOD:
- Agatha Christie, of course. The plot is pretty close to the book, which could be some form of spoiler.
- The artwork is really beautiful in its own vintage comic book-esque style.
- Loved the little jab at Sherlock Holmes' incredibly accurate wild deductions.
- No ludicrous inventory-based "puzzles", no annoying pixel-hunting.

THE BAD:
- The flow is too linear, with little to no freedom to explore or try different things. You do what you have to do when you have to do it, and if you try anything else, Poirot will say "this is not the time".
- Voice acting is meh and has mistakes. On Poirot, one could think it's because of his bad English, but even the English characters make mistakes that are not in the written text.
- The controls can be laggy and annoying at points.
- The only replayability value would be to get all the achievements and a higher "ego" score... but the extremely and forcibly linear gameplay does not encourage me to go at it again just to pick that one different question here and that one different comment there...

THE UNFORGIVABLE:
- How dare you replace "little grey cells" (which IS in the text!!!) with "brain cells" in Poirot's voice??? Blasphemy!

All in all, I don't recommend it at full price, but if you catch it on sale I'd say go for it. Now it's 80% off and totally worth it.

For a point-and-click game, this one is as cute as it's dark and gloomy, and I really, really liked it.

*Very cool artwork, especially the black/white scenes with details in red.
*The music is "meh", but it doesn't really bother.
*Interesting story, even though the "plot twist" was predictable from the second minute in the game and somewhat cliché.
*The story (except said plot twist) may give way to different interpretations, and I found it to be deeper -and darker- than it seems at first glance.
*There is a remarkable portrayal of certain aspects of mental illness and conditions, without being "pamphlet-y" or "on the nose".
*Most of the "puzzles" are rather logical, almost no "click everything until something works" (almost).
*Most of the "puzzles" are not really puzzles, but inventory based actions, not my favorite.
*There was a bit of the classic backtracking to 3 rooms behind for that one item you need now three rooms ahead, but it only felt draggy toward the end.

If you're into the point-and-click genre and enjoy dark stories, go for it.

First of all, thank you so much for letting us try this game for free. I appreciate it.
That said, after 10 levels of the same puzzle over and over (yes, difficulty levels increase a bit, but it's still the same puzzle), I had to give up. It felt like the kind of little puzzle games I would play on my phone "with one eye" while watching something on TV or on my way to work, only I can't do that on my PC. Perhaps there are more different types of puzzles ahead, I don't know... I may pick it up again later and change my mind.
