I've just started playing this game, and I'm still learning the basics, but from what I've seen, the game seems kind of imbalanced.

As a person coming to Dota2 from CounterStrike.1.6, It makes no sense to me how an old man who should have barely any reaction time can hit consistent headshots, and fire 3 shots per second with a 100% accuracy rate. Also, the awp character seems to be more of an LMG in this game.

Half the characters don't even have guns, and just run around trying knife people, and they don't get punished nearly as much as they do in CounterStrike. Buying new guns from the buypage isn't limited to the first 15 seconds after respawn either, which seems imbalanced.
I should also note that once you select a character, you cant change their weapon until the next game starts.
So if you pick an Awp character, and later realise you want the ak47, you're stuck with that hohoheeehee till the game ends and you find another match.

I should also mention, that most characters seem to never miss their shots, despite how old, weak or female they are, which takes away a large part of the immersion for me.

However despite the game's imbalance, I still recommend playing this game, as it has helped me learn how to tell people that I've slept with their mothers in 18 different languages.
