The best post-apoctalyptic narrative in the Bethesda franchise. There is much debate over which Fallout game is "best," but beauty is in the eye of the beholder so that is a stupid argument.

Fallout: New Vegas isn't the best first-person shooter in the Fallout lineup. It doesn't adequately make the player feel like a new wastelander the way Fallout 3 does. It does, however, have the best original storyline of any Fallout game.

The player is given several branching paths (some that you don't even realize) that let them choose what story to create.
Want to rule New Vegas with an iron fist? Go for it. Want to wander the wastes forever? Take any path you like.
This game is about choices and thier consequences, not a father/son love story.

You are a courier set out on revenge with the desert as your playground. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting a game with high replayability, great storytelling, and a serene desert filled with smooth jazz and man-eating fireants.
