Amazing game

I 100% the game and I can say that this is a FANTASTIC port. My only complaint is that you have to spend like 2 minutes watching publisher logos every time you open the game (There's a lot.)

Fantastic game, fantastic length for its price. A classic and it still holds up as a Doom game. Oh and the new levels are amazing too. (You have to beat the game and then do a new game for the new chapter.)

It's like sex, but better

Don't buy this game. Trust me. I know it's a meme to hate Sonic or buy bad Sonic games, but this isn't fun and it's just godawful. I went in expecting a bad game, but not on this level. It's an abomination that makes me extremely pissed off. I played through the first two levels and then immediately Alt+F4 and requested a refund.

The character creator was the most hyped thing about the game so I'll talk about that first.
- The character creator is the worst character creator I've ever seen. I wish I was exaggerating, but no, it's not.
- Every character anyone has created (bar clothing, which gets unlocked) looks like the same person with a different set of eyes, ears, and color. You look more generic than the background characters in the Sonic Boom cartoon
- There's no different body shapes, hairstyles, etc. You get 7 species (Dog, Wolf, Rabbit, Bear, Cat, Bird, and Hedgehog) with a useless ability for each one, that all look the same (If you chose bear, you'll be just as skinny as the cat or the rabbit!!) Each species has 3 head "styles" in the same way that combing your hair left instead of right is a "style," you can only change the color of the eyes, mouth/ears, and body and there's no color slider so it's all the same colors to choose from. There's no customizations allowing you to have a belly thing like Sonic or fur tufts like Tails, which is dumb as hell since every other Sonic character has that.
- The eyes are either generic, horribly bad looking, or that one edgy eye choice where your eyes are a void with pupils in them.
- The abilities of each are more useless than having the ability to spin plates in a business setting. The most useful is double jumping, and even then, you never need it because the platforming is so easy that even a baby can do it! Speaking of let's move onto...

THE GAMEPLAY
- HOLD RIGHT TO WIN. NO JOKE. YOU JUST HOLD RIGHT AND JUMP IF A WALL BLOCKS YOU.
- You only lose 5 rings on hit out of the 100 you probably have, so there's no challenge.
- The flamethrower powerup never runs out and has really long range, so you just hold it down and hold right and nothing ever stops you!
- THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HINTS PAUSE THE GAME AND DESTROY ANY FLOW THE GAME MAY HAVE HAD. YOU'LL BE RUNNING FAST AND SUDDENLY THE GAME STOPS ON A DIME AND GIVE A POPUP MESSAGE SAYING YOU CAN JUMP. FAN-♥♥♥♥♥♥-TASTIC I NEVER KNEW I COULD JUMP IN A PLATFORMER THANKS FOR PAUSING THE GAME TO TELL ME. IT DOES IT A LOT. IT'S WORSE THAN OMOCHAO PESTERING YOU BECAUSE AT LEAST HE DIDN'T FORCE THE GAMEPLAY TO STOP AND HAVE YOU HIT A KEY THAT'S AWAY FROM YOUR FINGERS.

I'd like to say something good about this game, but that's extremely difficult. The best I can think of is Silver saying "I'm just a realist. Sonic is dead and Tails has lost his mind," which I paraphrased. He says Sonic is "Gone" and that Tails "Lost his way" but that means dead and insane/traitor. I'd like to think he means that Sonic as a series is dead. Because this game clearly shows SEGA is out of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gourd with this one. Heed my word, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. BUYING THIS GAME WILL TELL SEGA THAT THE GAME IS GOOD.
