Very disappointed. I played for about ten minutes before quitting and requesting a refund. The game looks alright for the most part, and the music sounds wonderful. But there's too much going against it. The font is squished. The UI in general looks like it's meant for a 4:3 aspect ratio (while playing in 16:9). I didn't even get into a battle, but from what I've heard, the gameplay is the easiest it's ever been. But the thing that did it for me was the translation. It's copied and pasted either from the GBA version or the PSP version. I don't remember which, but they're practically the same. It still baffles me that, to this day, out of all the rereleases of this game, the DS version is the only one that did the translation well. I'm glad for the new arrangement of the soundtrack, but that's about it. I can only hope they somehow get their ♥♥♥♥ together for Final Fantasy VI, but based on how they handled the first four games, I highly doubt it.

Do you like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or any of the Metroidvania-type titles that came after it? Then you'll like this game.

I don't think I need to tell anyone at this point why I love this game. It's great. If you like classic Sonic, you'll like this game.

There are so, so, SO many things to do in this game. The possibilities are literally endless. Would absolutely recommend to any person who plays any sort of video games.
