This bored me to sleep. Literally.

The concept is great, they have huge names behind it and the trailer is extremely eye catching. So where did it go wrong?

First, replayability there's maybe 30 minutes of original lines and possibilities. After that it's all repetition. But you need to get trough it to get to the good parts and endings. Over and over again. At least 4-5 turns just to get all the pieces into place. And then the progress resets so you need to do it again. If the game had save points, chapter select, better skip buttons, ANYTHING to cut down on hearing the same line over and over again.

Then there's controls, they're clunky and not very responsive, making every step literal hell when timing and precision matters. And for certain endings it matters a lot.
You tried to convince your wife to explain why there's a murderous Willem Dafoe with a massive strangling fetish after you two? Click. Click. Oh for fudge's sake you clicked on the knife instead of the dessert and accidentally murdered her. RESET. Again from, the start, go talk to her and oh now shes throwing a tantrum cause you clicked the wrong menu and you're both getting killed. Thanks honey.
There's also a particularly annoying scene where you finally get trough to DaFoe and befriend him, AND HE STILL KILLS YOU if you don't speak at the exact time the game expects you to.

On that note the artstyle is pretty ugh. Characters move and look like bad tech demos. The credits claim mocap was involved but its not very noticeable. The movements are clunky and rough, not to mention there's like 4 different rooms in the entire game and there's reused assets with the same texture, not even a color change...its ridiculously bad.

Damn you Daisy Ridley. The entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ neighbourhood knows about your secret by now so just tell the [s]Green Go[/s] cop so he doesn't strangle me for the 5th time this evening.

After 4 years of early access I'd expect the map not to have holes at least...

After yet another 4 year time skip we will spend 3/4th of the game snoozing through Sekai Project's piss poor attempt at translating the 2008 crash. The rest 1/4th consists of useless characterization scenes, not for the main cast but for side characters that ultimately drop off the face of the earth for the rest of the story. Hope you didn't want to see any personal development for Lisa, Chris, Eleanor, you get a few sprinkles and in the games conclusion they're just... there in cutscenes, no after story or anything. After that there's sprinkles of main plot... somewhere.. not entirely sure where as its barely present, superficial and honestly an underwhelming end to this long complicated story with just... the magical power of kinship and... taxes? Oh yeah! Taxes are now the power of how much everyone loves their hometown so...uhhh... pay more I guess? Else you're responsible for it's economic downfall and you should feel bad. ... and then there's the absolute bonkers main villain who is none other than ... Barton AND Hagana? But it's okay guys they love the lunar surface so therefore they .... ruin its economy to the point where it might become an abandoned wasteland??? Oh but no no they plan to do it just to buy it and save it and make it an utopia! ....oh but they failed and now they stopped caring and its all going to hell???...but like they didn't mean it!!... also Barton is so cool he's ... backed by the CIA now? ... and owns more money than even entire countries?... and a wanted criminal? ... and... in charge of all government finances??? ... yep because he's just that amazing and perfect.

Honestly it feels like the writer gave up. The first chapter was a brilliant story about dreams and how unfair the world can be, the second showed how people can still work together and pick each other up the third one is just... taxes are made of peoples love or some ♥♥♥♥, oh and its perfectly okay to financially ruin your loved ones if you're jealous they might have moved on in the past 8 years of you cutting contact with them, simply breathtaking character development from Hagana.

PS: To Sekai Project, please for the love of god hire translators that have at least spent 5 minutes in the same room as an English dictionary. 'Gung-Ho' is not an acceptable translation for "Excited", it's severely overused in your translations and ruins any chance of immersion. Please, for the love of all that is holy, stop killing good stories with crappy translators.

Shameless mobile gacha cashgrab is dead after not even a year. Could have just ported the Prinny side games and made a killing but they chose this.

Despite its catchy artstyle and premise, the game will entertain you for maybe one to three minutes until it gets repetitive and painfully boring. It doesn't have much of a story or any interesting twists and it's mostly just you ransacking a strangers bedside table and drawers to make her think you're not a massive loser and a creep. Which you definitely are and she needs to get a restraining order ASAP.

An adorable creature collector in cutesy pixel style graphics, what more could you ask for?

Possibly the worst work by VisualArts/Key? Don't get me wrong the artstyle is pretty, the music is amazing and the plot isnt the worst ... by fanfiction.net standards but not by Japanese VN standards,and hell not by VisualArts/Key standards.

Go read Planetarian instead and even if you already read it before, just read it again. It'll surprise you more than this.
