Pros
> Very fun community to play with. There are tons of fun personas that I've met, and even more hilarious times.

> Casual friendly save for a few servers. Makes the game have a somewhat of a chill atmosphere unless in/going into combat. Does not apply to you if you are an a-hole.

> Can definitely create moments where you feel like you're the main character.

> THE staple of SCP multiplayer.


Cons
> Game play loop is heavily based on the community rather than the game itself. Oftentimes it takes only one person to ruin the fun of many.

> Some elements of the game are balanced around bomb rushing and sticking together, such as the surface elevators and 079 (Trying to attack a generator solo is more often than not a death sentence. In addition, most of the MTF wave dies trying to go down the elevator prior, making offense on him very difficult.)

> The spawn timer is very long, and not everybody spawns during a new wave on vanilla servers. This means that you are punished for dying early by having to wait 4-5 minutes to play the game, AND you are punished for dying later (right before a wave occurs) by having to wait even longer (6+ minutes).

> Skill based play can easily be thrown out the window by random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Some elements of the game are very uninviting to skill based play as well, such as elevators, which can be unexpected death sentences. Skill based play also heavily relies on the enemy team being very bad at the time, leaving it up to only gun play on equal skill level and item preparation.

> Not enough balance changes. Most of the SCPs are also notoriously annoying to fight, primarily 939 / 079 / 096. 173 is the only SCP that you can have a skillful 1v1 with.
