Hey, I think your workshop objects are pretty cool and wanted to ask if you could create the following trains because they are the best trains to complement DB traffic! Can you pleas cerate the ICE 3 neo, ICE L, DB Br 430.

Well I am still alive and still thinking about modding CS2. But this time I will leave the trains to you :) I will start from scratch with some smaller things like cars or bikes or just very simple buildings.
Just waiting for some clarification if the modding will be simmilar procedure to get the asset to game as it was for CS1 or it will be difficult this time.

Thank you so much for trying! I do usually use move it! And squeeze in a metro track as close as I can, and if not, it's just fun to make it a challange and see if I can make those bridges with 3 levels instead! Trains on top, metro under, and pedestrian either in between or on each side of the bridge depending on how crammed it looks!

Although I havent tried using any mods to change one traintrack on the bridge to metro. Maybe that could work?

I tested to share metro and train tracks before and it didn't work properly. Train and tram seems to work fine, as I made on-street train tracks recently.

I am not sure if current state of mods and game basecode allows such system. Currently i'm focused on CS2 material so I don't have time to back to CS1 and attempt another try to make metro-train tracks work.

If CS2 turns out a disappointment, I'd probably stick with CS1 then I can look at it once more.

As for station types; underground and sunken train stations requires a custom AI, that is on workshop , but does not support custom train station tracks, which is also making the mod useless aside vanilla style stations. Modder didn't open source his mod when I asked last time, so I doubt he'll do it now in 2023. I'm hoping we'll have sunken and underground stations in CS2 easier than its predecessor

Im new to Steam but not to Cities Skylines so I dont know if this is the best place to ask you for something?

Is there any way that you could make room for metro-trains to be able to drive over the bridge as well? Which leads me to my second question: Would you consider making an underground or at least sunken, bigger station either for trams, or trains or both. None of the others I have tried have worked out the way I want and they look ugly. You are a master at making everything melt together into one big piece of art.

But of course I understand it's a lot of job, and I understand if you feel like it's too much to do!

Keep rocking them rails, conductor!

hi, first of all congratulations and a big thank you for your amazing work. I use a lot of the French Alstom TGVs that you created. But I encounter a small problem with the double sets. In fact the only double set available on your workshop seems to me to have a slightly different scale from the other TGVs, a little bit larger. This does not pose a problem but I was wondering if you would have created other versions of the double euroduplex TGV. Maybe non-carmillon versions?
In any case thank you and hoping that you will continue to feed your wshp despite CS 2.

I can say that I'm working on CS2 content, but a transition from CS1 to CS2 is not easy as people think, a significant overhauls if not remakes are required.

But I can say with certainty that I'll be around :)

@REVO, I'm sorry, I got you confused by other moder...in your case it would be the MAN's Lyon BUS. I plan to repaint them with some portuguese livery's. For the trains, I'm not sure yet, maybe one Bombardier.

Sorry me, I didn't even tested it, cause it incompabilitive with Railway 2, i maked my own custom map with it, I forgot what it is - play on vanilla tracks)) Don't know that, sorry. Anyway, that was only purpose for you...

Agree on 100%. Sadly, I'm not modder, and dont have time to make mods, so cant make it for myself — and I asked you.

Railway 2 alone has hundreds of networks if not 1000+ by now with all variants. Mod also requires custom prop set, which is another colossal task of reimporting thousands of signals.

It's not possible by any metric to be handled in a reasonable timeframe. It's also not fully compatible with TMPE, which represents a large block of users in CSL workshop.

Managing trains is nice and it was something I discussed with another modder years ago to make it happen, but the current mod is doing it poorly to a degree it requires custom tracks, custom signals, and it's also incompatible with one of the most popular mods of CSL.

A proper way to do it would've been using existing asset pool and make the mod around it, not forcing a remake of thousands of hours

Hi, REV0! TOday I'm explored steam workshop, and found newcome mod – Railway Trafic Light mod. It works only with special tracks, that have included railways signals. Can you make Railway 2 compabilitive with it?

I was thinking an elevated rail network that was solid concrete with the bridge section as an overpass like in the picture. Preferably in a US style with 2 and 4 way traffic. If you look at the rail line in Chicago IL 41.890137811197846, -87.64596543553014 at street view that can be a better example. Sorry for being unclear I was very tired and thank you for looking at this.

Mod does not require any train to work, it will work just fine with any train.

Train collection you're referring is made for american trains that fit visually with american networks of railway 2. It is not a dependency

Your railway collections are absolutely awesome! I do however look for one set of rolling stock that's seems missing, or I am simply blind and over looking! Was looking for the Talgo T350, The Haramain High Speed train Makkah-Madinah. Do you happen to have it??? Hi Revo, I subscribed your wired meteo tracks and metro replacer. When I want to build those tracks, it seems that they lost pillars when elevated. Also, I am not able to replace station tracks. It is not working. Do you know how to fix that?

engine on rear will be a 'trailer' aka not the engine itself. its main mesh will be set to required reverse that's done via assetr editor flags

If not, how do you make a train auto-revevrsible? If I add a locomotive at the end, it is allways visible. I guess you have to use a more complicated editor?
