My main gripe with the game is the war system and the excessive standardization.

To begin with, I am okay with the new war system; I enjoy the importance it places on supply and logistics and the new strategic approach to war.
But it feels incomplete man, Armies being able to teleport to any front and countries like the Ottomans somehow being able to go across the Atlantic to naval invade Canada makes no sense.

On the standardization side, all countries feel the same when playing them, and I am not talking about flavour or events. Countries like Japan do not feel or play like a society being flipped on its head by massive Industrialization or Shifts in society. It feels like I am playing Prussia with less industry.

Overall the game feels unfinished, as if major mechanics were just ignored so they could scalp people for future DLC.
