Predatory micro transactions and bad monetization aside, this game is fun until you play multiplayer and realize how poorly balanced it is.

Cool action platformer

Probably the best arcade shooter on the market. Any time you master a mechanic it makes you feel incredibly cool and handsome. Only 4 chapters are out so far but more to come.

Rebirth is one of the greatest games of our generation and the Repentance DLC has only made it better. I can not even begin to explain how much repentance has affected this game for the better. The new characters in repentance (except Jacob & Esau) are challenging and yet even more fun than their original counterparts. They really blew it out of the water with this one. Gone are the days where items would cancel each other out, McMillen and the Nicalis team have gone out of their way to hard code in a ton of synergies than used to never exist and makes some item combinations that were previously terrible amazing. Also the final chapter's boss sequence is the best in the game and really shows how unfun the optional bosses added in afterbirth and afterbirth+ really are. I thought that repentance would just be a port of a fan mod, but clearly they put a ton more effort than I gave them credit for. This game has never been better and I highly recommend it.

Dead by Daylight is a 1v4 asymmetrical action game with a horror aesthetic. The game is not very intuitive for new players, consisting of both a barebones out of date tutorial, and an incredible grind of a progression system. That being said, once you know what you're supposed to be doing and have put several hours into the game, the gameplay loop is astounding. The tension during a chase is incredible, whether playing killer or survivor. All in all, I suggest grabbing a couple of friends to play with if you're new because thats where the game shines the most. It's going to be hard to find another asymmetrical game that is even close to as good as DBD.

Promising game when I first purchased it. Had a ton of fun learning all of the mechanics and trying to play as a counselor. The problem with the game lies with the people who play it. First of all, the game has little to no playerbase as the game isn't getting updated with new content after a lawsuit. Fair enough. The biggest offender though is that when you do spend 10 minutes finding a game, the game you find is in a server with ping that is unplayable as its in Asia. The last 2% of games you get to play with a counselor queued up with Jason who is leading Jason towards you in order to ruin the game for everyone.

Good foundation for a survival horror game. But honestly, that's about it.

Definitely a game worth checking out. 10/10

Fun Mario Kart-esque platformer that is simple to learn but difficult to master. Nice online matchmaking. More fun with friends, however.
