Early Access Review
I had been waiting for this game for quite some time. The first one was almost like my spirit animal in gaming form, so I tried not to set my expectation bar too high when going into this one just in case. Thank the heavens for the experience that lay before me! Everything good about the previous Polynomial is better, and then expanded. Take it from an audiophile, buy this game and put it next to that emotional core of your heart where it belongs :)

Just like I remember it, frustrating but fun. All I kept reading was about how it was "so dead" but I went on a server with about 4 people and it seemed very active, dont need many players to enjoy it. Its about 1 pm western US time on a sunday I'd say there was 11 or 12 people on. I may even try to set up a server for it myself. Good casual game, pretty cheap, can't say much that hasn't been said already about the game itself. That head-slicing sound doe. 7.5/10

At first I did not like this game to be honest, there were a couple reasons but as I found later they were unfounded. After logging roughly 3 hours of game time I realized that the game had its own flow, its own "feel" if you will.

Regardless of game-play, the maps that you play on are gorgeous. They are rich in detail, and set up in a way that feels big but not overwhelmingly so. You have a balance of spaces enclosed and open spaces so you are able to fully use all of the weapon types and not feel limited based on environment.

I have not played enough to fully comment on the game mechanics, but I feel that they are balanced. Every game has its faults, but those are mostly based on the player as opposed to the game itself.

Overall, I would recommend this game to paid-gamers and free-gamers alike. I tend to go for free games/mods as opposed to paid just because they usually have more "heart". This mod is no exception.

I have played this game since 2008, and it has come to be one of my favorites. Though this (new) account does not have many hours, between my other accounts I have 200+ hours inside this gem of a game. In fact, Kyle Gabbler's music is still one of my most listened to, and I never would have discovered him if not for the highlight of his work in the Radio! From the atmosphere, to the re-playability, to the delectable music taste the dev/s have, this game is a win-win-win. I will continue to enjoy this game for many years to come, and if you love music along with your gaming experience you will too! Bravo to those who made Audiosurf, this warm review is long overdue!

Personal views aside, the game is great for what it is.

I have been playing this game for many years and 1000+ hours, though this account only has a few logged. I also occasionally have a server up called the Blunt Club. I was never fond of the official-looking maps but orange maps and sniper maps were my stomping ground for a good 2 year period. The WAR clan hated me because I would head-shot Cobra and all of his army wannabes and the AOD admins loved having someone providing a challenge in both clans' sniper servers. Anyways, with this history in mind I must say that this game is incredibly fun. Like most games, there are things about it that irk me such as the wonky running system, but I'm more of a face value overall kind of reviewer. In that vein, I give this game: _-> 8/10 <-_

This is a brilliant music-based game. Beautiful artwork interspersed with game-play you can choose intensity level on. My favorite is listening to some very chill electronic music and fly around while I trip on my substance of choice. Very recommend much amazing!

Where can I start? I began playing this game in the beginning of 2008 after randomly browsing through games I didn't have to pay for (cheap college student). A first person game with swords and arrows? Its free? Sweet. And the first time I started playing I was hooked. Yeah, I got the ♥♥♥♥ kicked out of me, but the thrill of being face to face with your opponent and being able to talk to others as you played was an experience I had never seen in a game. There were no other FPslashers at the time (Pvk may have been out). This review is long overdue, between all of my accounts I have logged 3,000+ hours and counting. I am also fighting my ass off to save this game and keep the player-base... well... playing. This game has many flaws, but the community and the experience in the game is not something you find anywhere else. I won't bore you with hitboxes and glitches because that is not what it is about. Do you enjoy the game and the people you play with? With that I answer this game is 11/10 x1000000 .

I don't get into many games, but from the second I started playing I had fun. It's simple to learn, and with some work I could see it being a great game. This is a free download to top it all off and it is worth every megabyte of space.

Good stuff, wish it was less like TF2 but I love AOC so I'm biased.
