This game feels like it was made by someone with 0 video game experience. The whole game is unbalanced. The challenges make you play ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamemodes, and all of the armors look the exact same or take 0 player skill to unlock. 343 is literally spitting on the Halo fandom with this game. Unreal.

Overall this game was fantastic.

The pacing throughout FAR was incredibly well done, it allowed you to take your time to take in the environment and learn more about the world, while also have exciting moments mixed in that keeps your attention through the whole playthrough. The unique mechanic of controlling the vessel also adds to the experience by keeping you moving while also giving you moments of respite while the wind is working with you so you can take in the gorgeous apocolyptic world and majestic soundtrack. The puzzles were also laid out so they started easy so you could learn the game mechanics and then gave you more difficult challenges that required you to be a bit more creative without being too over the top difficult.

As with any game that tells a story without the use of dialogue, it should have a great accompanying soundtrack, and FAR was no exception to that. The soundtrack was, in my opinion, the greatest part of the game. The music added so much to story. With intense peices played while you are being barraged with hail or slow beautiful peices being played while sailing thorugh a field of oxen. It creates an incredible atmopshere for the playing experience that couldn't have been captured wihtout the use of music.

Another cornerstone of this game is the geniously crafted world. The world is layed out so you are slowly learning about what caused the decay of civilization and how said cause affected the world. You aren't just learning about the history by mindlessly piloting your way across the world. While there is a lot to be understood form the backround of the world, the puzzles are also cleverly made to either show off the surrounding area and teach the player even more about how things ended up the way they did.

If you have a few free hours I would certainly recommend playing through this game. The simple puzzle gameplay, beautiful art and music, and uniquly told story all come together to make for a fun experience.
